Room (221) was a bit to be desired, furniture was in bad shape, the ceiling above the ac unit was so dirty and dusty, the curtains were gross!!!! I hardly slept as I felt like I was having a hard time breathing. Bed was at least comfortable. Staff was friendly. The location was good and easy to get off and onto 494. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Lots of Food on the block, 10 min from St Paul and basically every direction. Friendly service. Adjustable room rates for extended stays. Will stay here again in town.

Good Hampton Inn overall. seemed a bit tired, some trim in our room was broken off, but beds were comfortable and the amenities were nice. no microwave in room, but there was one in the lobby, so that did the trick.
Safety: Parking lot was lit up all night, inside seemed fine, nothing out of the ordinary.
Food and drinks: Complementary breakfast was really good.

Worst place ever. They refused to give me the room I booked and paid for because I wasn’t in a wheelchair. I had requested a mobility accessible room. Not all disabilities require a wheelchair. We didn’t have a microwave (supposed to) a clock and a radio (didn’t have one) a seating are (didn’t have one) refrigerator didn’t work (not cold) tv didn’t much work. We didn’t request housekeeping but did ask for extra towels, conditioner, toilet paper and trash bags. Never came. The smokers post has never been emptied and was real hard to make them stay in there. Breakfast was a joke. You should get that free because they didn’t spend or put to much effort in it. Beds were very uncomfortable. I would never suggest someone to stay there. Nobody was overly friendly at any time. I hate giving it 1 star.

The hotel was ok. The breakfast was awful and the pool was freezing for young kids. The front desk was super nice and friendly and very accommodating.
Rooms: The rooms were average rooms. Nothing fancy.

Is this really a Hampton Inn? No 24 hour coffee. No microwave in the room. I was on the 3rd floor and the floor is so noisy when you walk around the room and down the hallway. Don’t look for a modern wall mounted thermostat. It’s on the old air conditioner. Double check that your phone is charging because several outlets weren’t working.
It’s too bad, this used to be one of my favorite locations but it just hasn’t been kept up.

Been staying here for about a week, the rooms are decent, beds are comfy, food is good and the staff is what glues this place together. The comment below that Tim had stated is a BIT dramatic.
There isn’t dust, the ladies clean the rooms every morning. I walk down for breakfast and they clean every morning when you check out. I walk past the doors and they smell perfect of cleaning products.
The high school basketball team was loud, yes, but to ask 1 girl to do something about 40 people is insane. Ask the parents!
The breakfast is fine every morning, wake up a little earlier and you’ll get what you need. Expecting to have food after 40-60 teenage male basketball players come through is just insane.
The staff is amazing, nice and feel like family.
Don’t let one bad comment ruin your night here, it’s a cozy place.
Rooms: Comfy beds, soft pillows and good blankets.
Hot shower water.

Sadly, we had one of the worst experiences here at this hotel. The rooms need updating. Laminate was peeling. The breakfast couldn't be called a breakfast as over the two days we stayed, they didn't bother refilling items once they ran out. No fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, hot water, coffee, English muffins and much more. We ended up going somewhere else the second day for breakfast because it was so lacking. Our first night a group of loud girls or women were drunk and making noise in the hallway until 2 a.m. The second night youth were running up and down the halls being loud and smoking weed. I cannot recommend this hotel at all.

Recently, we received some very distressful news regarding a family member who was diagnosed with cancer. As result, some unfortunate events happened within the family which leads me here. We needed a place to stay for the family member on very short notice and we needed some extra assistance because we are in another state. We tried some other places first but honestly when we saw the place we were not pleased at all. We ended up staying at this Hampton Inn just for a night while we plan everything out. Once we got there the night shift lady helped me to get in contact with Felix. We were going to need extended stay so he was the person to contact. So the next morning we got some breakfast as we thought about the mountain of planning we were going to need. A man named Victor, who was working the breakfast that morning was not just a pleasure but went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. He even offered to go across the street to get something because the item was out. Wow. This interaction is what started the feeling of we were in the right place. After that, we needed to get a hold of Felix. I went to the front desk to begin the inquiry and Felix was right there. After explaining my situation, unbeknown to me, he had experienced a similar event with his own family, we immediately connected not only on that but he was more than accommodating and willing to go way above and and beyond to assist us. He was patient, friendly, understanding and has a heart of gold. As the word began to spread about our situation, that enthusiasm spread to his entire staff we had contact with. Everyone was so friendly and willing to help.
Mom ended up needing some assistance a few days later and Sadie (I think that was her name. She spoke Spanish) was there to assist because we were already gone and again just went above and beyond anything we were expecting. To the entire staff, THANK YOU so much for ALL of your help. We are truly grateful and thankful for all your help and support. The interaction with this team made a very difficult situation just a little bit easier. Thank you and God bless your team!
