We walked in 9 minutes late to our 5:50pm appointment in Woodbury tonight 9/12/24 after driving 20 minutes and hitting red lights and slow cars with road construction and they refused to see us as the appointment would take to long! Waste of time and money. More stressful as when you already had to prep your child and get them to wait to eat... Makes me so frustrated and annoyed.

I received the best customer service from James. I have progressive lenses and needed them to focused for my working on a computer. He worked me on several occasions getting the lenses correct and the frames fitted. James said he wanted to ensure that my glasses were set right for what I needed. He did just that, thank you!

Maplewood location did not advise we would be seeing a Dr virtually. Chose to reschedule for an in person appointment with a Dr.
We canceled the appointment when we arrived at the clinic, but upon follow up after we left- found that codes had already been sent to our insurance to bill for the appointment. A manager was able to remove the codes, but had we not followed up, we would have been billed.

I have been a customer at this location for about 10 years and I have never had a problem. It's easy to schedule appointments, the staff is always nice and willing to help.

We just went to get glasses for my daughter and the person who worked with us was rude and half the time we couldn’t even hear what he was saying . Very unprofessional. This is my last time going here and I would not recommend this place in Woodbury

I had a pair of bifocal sunglasses made here. When I wear them while driving I can't see the dash instruments, they are out of focus. I brought them back and talked with the manager, who was too lazy to get up out of his chair to discuss. He had no interest or intention of solving my problem. He said that what I needed was trifocals, why wasn't that explained to me when I ordered them? Now I've got sunglasses that I can't drive with. And they won't do anything about it. I'll never get glasses here again. I paid over $400 for two pairs, not the bargain they advertise!_//_ 6/5/24, I was contacted by the store owner after she saw my review. She was very apologetic and was able to resolve the issue by working with my optometrist to get a prescription that would work. She had new lenses made, and they switched them out today, free of charge. They work great! Raising my rating from one star to four. It would have been 5 stars if I could have gotten this resolved when I first came back.
I'm very happy with both pairs of glasses now.

I bought 2 pair of glasses from this facility. Both are horrible. One pair is a computer pair. I can barely use it with the computer. I cannot read with them. I certainly can't look long distance. And once I found my old glasses And put them back together. I realized how horrible this pair was and why my eyes have been so sore. The other pair I can't use for anything. They don't lineup for reading it's just, it's awful.

Not sure if all America’s Best locations is like that, but is really strange to me that they don’t tell you what your prescription is. The staff told me they can’t tell me the prescription but a trial has been ordered for me. I like wait what? How am I going to feel safe to put a trial in my eyes without knowing that prescription that I am going to try out? As a patient I have the rights to know. I am not just going to put whatever prescription they think is good for me in my eyes without knowing and understanding the reason. This directly relates with my health. Will the staff be responsible for it if cause any health issues? This is a ridiculous policy. My doctor in the hospital she never hides things from me and always communicates with me even just going to try out an option. America’s best is being so secretive!!! Either the staff knows nothing or they are being irresponsible.

I always have the best experience here. The staff is great and efficient! We were helped by Emily today. She was on top of things from the start, ready to help me find new frames and get my eyesight back! Thank you for all you do!
