Brought a gun for a deep cleaning, they said it would for sure be done that week. I ended up calling the next week to ask about it, they said it now would be done this coming Friday, I called on Friday to ask about it, they said they'd for sure get it done that weekend, I called on Monday they said it would for sure be done by Wednesday, I called on Wednesday and they said it'll for sure be done by Friday, one hearing that I decided enough was enough and went and picked it up uncleaned

Very displeased. I went in to get wax worms to feed my salamanders and the guy said they would last a good month in my fridge.... They were dead when we got home.... First and last time I will ever go in there... Got 2 50 packs and both were dead....

His place is a little hidden on the east side of the road. Not many gun smith's around anymore. I brought something in and he said he will enjoy working on it. Good to know. Also does transfers and sales.

Prices seem to be a bit on the high side and the owner seems a bit reserved. If you like a quiet store this place is for you. They did carry most things, including bait. After one visit I bought bait for ice fishing. He forgot to put enough water in the bucket and by the time I got to the lake they were all dead. I called and he made it right by replacing the whole dozen. So although it was a hassle, customer service was exemplary.

My dad and I have personally bought quite a few firearms and firearm accessories from Frank for many years now. Frank is very knowledgeable about what he sell's and what part's or accessories would work best on any given firearm. If you want a straight forward answer and good advice go to Frank. If you want someone to fill you up with BS advice or a cocky answer go to a big box sporting good store; you will NOT find this at Habisch Outdoors.
