They are amazing. They train their dogs and work hard doing it. They give the animals the best care an lots of love. They were wonderful helping thru the adoption process and helped me after the adoption with some issues I was expecting to face. Super people going a great job. They are committed to the animals and make sure they go to good homes. Keep up the awesome job.

I absolutely love the work this place does.and volunteering here is great. They are really great at spending time with the cats. So, if you get one there you will know it has been properly checked out and they can tell you about the personality.I have to edit review because I applied to walk the dogs and never got a response. Thee is no reason why I shouldn't be allowed to walk the dogs. I have experience with walking dogs. But, my application was ignored or rejected. Doesn't make sense because I want to help and I have the time. I doubt they do background checks, but if they do, I have a perfectly clean background check. I'm fit and capable. I see various guys my size walking dogs there all the time. I can her the dogs barking like they want to go out when people go in and out of the dog area, so it's not like they don't need the help. Maybe my "very ethnic" last name or the fact that I'm not a young man is affecting it. I onky see men walking the dogs. But that may just be a coincidence. Other than that, there is absolutely no reason to ignore my application to volunteer.

My daughter is adopting 2 adorable twin Flame point siamese kittens. Right before she could get them the room they were tested positive for ring worm. The twins tested negative but she can't get them for 6 weeks. I know they're just being careful

Fostering for 4.5 years, TNR, taken 40+ kittens to this place. Very well received. Unfortunately the cat directors keep leaving. Wishing the best for them.

Gonna go there and look at dogs. We lost our dog ? Frisky. He passed away on Saturday afternoon June 4th in the living room. We're so very sad that we had to leave him behind and alone and let him go. I had to bury him and let him go and leave him alone and behind. It was so very hard and so depressing and upsetting.

The care that these animals receive is phenomenal! I wish every city was as compassionate and capable as the Winona Area Humane Society

Dog walking is great. I love the staff's interactions with the volunteers and the animals. You can tell that they really care about the well being of all creatures. ? winona is beautiful in the fall, so that is a bonus!

Very helpful and kind. I found a kitten abandoned outside after surviving a long freezing night. WAHS took it in and made sure the kitten got the medical attention it needed to be able to recover and hopefully be adopted. Thanks!
