Place is getting run down. There appears to be no maintenance. I've noticed a lot of open, empty units with garbage and junk left behind not picked up for weeks. I've seen items such as urine bottles and set up air beds suggesting homeless staying there. Lots of mouse traps. I decided to move my items out when I notice my furniture being stored had mouse damage. They have cameras but I don't think anyone responsible is monitoring them. Extra fees charged to customers are there to cover cost of clean up and security but clearly its just being pocketed because nothing is clean or secure. Management is lacking big time.

Just got a unit today. The unit still had a lock on it, so I had to call in and get a combination to remove the old lock. Unit was also dirty, so I swept it out. Bathrooms were very dirty, I believe someone is living there as I saw several two liter bottles scattered throughout with what appeared to be urine in them(thought this place was monitored?). No toilet paper or paper towels. When I called in with these issues and needed assistance, the man who answered was very helpful, but the delays did cause me to miss an appointment. I requested that I get my $25 administrative fee back since the "administrative duties" clearly had not been done, he felt I was in the right to request this and passed along message for his manager to call me. The manager that called me was VERY unprofessional sounded sassy from the start with an attitude and literally asked me in some "valley girl" tone "what's the issue" I was like "oh they didn't tell you what happened? THEN she began reading her notes, sounding as if I was inconveniencing her! She never apologized and made excuses about her cleaning lady going on maternity leave, but NOW they will be getting someone there to take care of stuff (ummm. I'm sorry but as manager isn't that YOUR job when you've been unable to find a replacement?) Anyway she went on to tell me what the Administravie fee is for...cleaning, locks, bathrooms....ALL the stuff that had been missing. Not to mention, she clearly didn't care. This caused me to miss an appointment of my own. I guess I owed her something because she would not waive a $25 administrative fee when my cleaning time alone was worth $20, not to mention the inconvenience of my rescheduled doc appointment. Zero accountability for her lack of management skills. Lazy, I guess I'm stuck with a unit that I have to clean up myself and hope I'm safe there alone at night since clearly it's not being maintained and people live in there.

I needed a unit with temp control. I must've asked Ms.Ivy 1,000 questions, including a few she hadn't had before, like a true champion she answered them all. Even reaching out to other team members within the company to help clarify a couple answers to my inquiries. Her professional ethics are to be commended! Thank you for all your help!!

Thanks for the terrific space! I needed warm storage for a classic fiberglass boat and Midwest Indoor Storage had just what I was looking for. The space was spotlessly clean, perfectly temperature controlled, and easy to sign up for and access when needed. I'll definitely be back in the fall when the lakes are about to freeze over once again. These folks are a pleasure to deal with and they make the whole process very easy.

If I could I would be doing more than 5*. They are very helpful and informative. They go above and beyond with their customer’s. If I need anything I email them and they answer back right away. Also there units are very clean and there measures to make sure that the customer’s unit’s are safe is wonderful. Thank You

Midwest Storage values their customers. When you call, the phone is answered by a friendly, knowledgeable, helpful person. I chose them because of their excellent customer service! The unit was spotless upon my arrival with absolutely no dampness to be found anywhere. I would highly recommend using them. If I have need of a storage unit again Midwest Indoor Storage is where I will go!
