The bathroom is nicer then my mom's, and everything is literally glistening in that place...I am used to mechanic shops with dirt floors where I'm from.. sooo this is next level! Also one of the staff drove me the holiday Inn as the car was in the shop over night. Good people over there..I highly recommend seeing them.”
“Yesterday (8/31/2024), I was in a pinch after I tried to do my own oil change and failed to get the oil filter off due to it being over tightened. I pulled up to their shop without an appointment and spoke with Bob and despite him being busy he took the time out of his day to lift my car and take it off for me free of charge. It's rare you see service like this anymore and I will be taking my vehicle their for additional service when the time comes. (Thank you again Bob and the rest of the Auto Repair Service team for continuing to serve the community)”

Amazing enough it was less than what they said! Super nice guys ! And got us in the same day on a Saturday no less!
And the repairs took half the time!
And afterwards we still had some weird lights on the dash and they immediately came out and fixed it no charge!

“I went in to have my brakes checked out as I was smelling them burning as I drove. They checked it out pretty quickly and had a few recommendations of what it could be but had said it would be best to wait as to not replace anything unnecessary and it wouldn't hurt the car. I had gone to Midas and they wanted to replace my entire rear brakes and all so these guy are both extremely nice and honest with their work. My retired mechanic uncle recommends them as well.”
“We made a last-minute decision to take our 2011 van on a several-day visit out-of-town, but it needed quite bit of deferred maintenence work completed on very short notice. TGK Maplewood Manager Evan was great to work with as he committed to getting it done on time (even earlier!) for us. Even with a big storm that knocked out their power for some hours, they got it all done, and done well. We feel so much better now taking our preferred vehicle on this trip. “Recently got my tires rotated at the dealership and my driver side front wheel began making a noise. I didn’t want to take it back to the dealership because I didn’t want to get ripped off. I explained to the gentleman (perhaps the owner) what was happening and he immediately knew what the issue was. He asked to confirm by doing a quick drive. When he came back, he spent 10 seconds doing something to the wheel. He went for another drive and NO MORE NOISE. When he returned, he explained what the issue was and how he fixed it. I asked him how much I owed him and he said nothing. I left his shop feeling so appreciative of his honesty and knowledge. Any other mechanic (and the dealership) would have seen the opportunity to make easy money off me by charging me an hour or two for labor and I would never know the problem was a simple fix. Hope not to deal with future car problems but now I know where I can go if any arise. Thank you!”

Not only was he able to do the work for less, it was ready so fast. We figured a week or 2 but in a couple days we good to go.

“I brought the newspaper along to read expecting a pretty good wait. But no after going to the restroom and checking where I wanted to sit and just barely checking the paper they said the car was done. Couldn’t have taken more 15 min.Any place else it’s for sure over an hour and sometimes two hours.”

“I received a low ball offer from a dealership for my vehicle I was trying to trade in because they said “the engine was sputtering.” I brought my car in to Jeff and he got me in on short notice. He checked the car up and down to make sure everything was good. Found out the slight noise I was hearing was from a ball bearing starting to go on my alternator. He was able to get me in on short notice, diagnose the issue with ease and help me get it taken care of all in a short time period. He has all of the tools for the job including the latest technology and he knows what he’s doing. He is an absolute expert mechanic and all around great person.”
