I bought the H3X just over a month ago and have used it twice. The plastic bent and will no longer hold it's position and function. Worked well the two days it was attached but due to the cheap plastic it does not last. Sent an email to the company and they blamed it on using it incorrectly (tethered to the boat when it had been tethered to a buoy). They recommended buying replacement parts. You are better off making your own shaper out of more durable plastic. For $360 this device should last more than 2 days. I am guessing the plastic may stand the force on a 20ft boat but mine is 24ft. I would stay away from this product.

We went here to get my son and daughter a One Wheel pint last Friday. They were super friendly, and incredibly helpful! I would recommend this place indeed! It was a great experience for us all.

Excellent team, excellent work. I had Swell install my FAE (surf pipe) on a 2014 Malibu. I also asked them to install an aftermarket swimstep. They did both with great care. They worked with my requests. Truly a custom job, great craftsmanship, excellent communication. Fast, precise, everything you want when having someone work on your precious boat!

Great customer service and communication from these folks. I'm storing my boat with them this winter and they're helping me with some repairs. They've been super helpful, answering all my nonstop email and phone questions about my old boat. Big shout out to Joe from Swell who came and helped me retrieve my boat at the launch today and deliver it to a mechanic. He was super kind and patient as we dealt with some surprise issues (that boat life).

We had a ton of work done to our boat in the off season and have been out on the lake loving it this summer. We added a tower, ballast system, tower speakers, subwoofer, new stereo, Gator Step flooring, and Fresh Air Exhaust. Both Adam and Jake have been great to work with through planning, install, and follow up. Any minor issues have been quickly addressed, and they 100% stand behind their work. If you’d rather turn your current inboard boat into a wake surfing machine and not spend $100k on a new boat, call Swell.

Small quality issue with suction cup mechanism which Swell sorted immediately once notified. Wakeshaper works extremely well and Swell Customer Service even better.

Bought some boat coats for my family last summer and we love them! So soft and warm. The kids regularly nap on the boat in them, and we get people asking about them at the pool. I might have to try some of the new colors they have this season!

Over the last couple of years I've bought multiple surf boards, extra ballast bags, ropes, and a wake creator from these guys. All top notch products and super helpful on getting my boat set up to surf. It's awesome to have these guys on the East Metro and not have to go all the way to Minnetonka for something related to a boat.

YOU CAN STOP IN AND BUY STUFF THERE! When I first went there I was incredibly hesitant to go in, it doesn't seem like you should be able to go in but you can! They are very friendly and helpful.

$250 Swell Wake Creator, 2 yrs old... has rusted parts. Both pins that hold the suction cups - rusted. How the heck do you not use stainless parts on an in-water item? Disappointing for sure. Contact them on IG, they acted like they cared.... then blew me off.

This company doesn't stand behind their products and their reviews are all bogus. I got a defective wake surf shaper (slim) which they wouldn't replace. I left an honest and fair review stating both the pros and cons and because it wasn't all five stars, they simply deleted it. Shame on them.

Reply to Owner's reply (since they ignored contact through their website): I had this attached to my boat. On the second day of using it, we went to pull it up after the last surf session and all that was attached to the boat was the 'security' string. The string still had a knot in the bottom where it tied to the SWELL so I assume it came off at some point during the surfing and tore the plastic and was lost in the lake. We drove around for about an hour looking for it and never found it. Two concerns, we had been surfing for some time and never noticed it was missing so it must not have had that big an impact on the wake, second, it isn't built well enough to stay attached to the security string or suctioned to the boat.
