Adam and Steve did an absolutely amazing job on our floors in Maplewood. From day one, they were easy to communicate with, gave expert recommendations as to how to take care of the new floors. They also walked us through why they were doing specific things in order to help our floors look the best and last longer. We will be using them again on our next renovation!

The were the original installer of our wonderful custom tinted wood floor in 2020. We had a water issue and had to have 1/5th of the floor replaced. Great Wood came in, worked with our schedule and got the job done, with no issues. Floor looks back to original quality, and looks and feels great. Honest job for a good honest days pay. Super friendly too which makes working with them a breeze ?

Steve and Adam just wrapped up a new 900 Sq Ft + Maple floor installation with sanding and finishing. We could not be happier with their craftsmanship and final product. We found them to be great communicators and they told us the plan and stuck to it. They did a great job, and we would highly recommend them.

Steve and his son Adam did a fantastic job on our home project.They removed our 30-year old floors (two layers of tile).They installed beautiful red oak hardwood floors, sanded and finished them.The floor exceeded our expectations, and the service was great as well. We stayed in touch by text and they even finished the job on a Saturday and then came back Monday to move appliances back in.I’d strongly recommend them to anyone considering new hardwood floor installation. I’d give them 6 stars if I could.

I am a contractor who renovated homes and have used Greatwoods Hardwood Flooring on every project I’ve done. They are the best! Their craftsmanship is second to none, and the finished product is impeccable!! We had them install a 5” white oak floor at our personal residence and the floors were perfect and still looked brand new and beautiful when we sold the home several years later. Adam and Steve at Great Woods are fantastic! We own a 110 year old house with original maple floors throughout. When we originally bought the house, the floors were in pretty bad shape. Adam came with a very reasonable quote and told us he could get everything sanded and refinished before we even moved in.The work took a few days, but by the time they were finished both the main level and upstairs of the home had sparkling newly finished floors! The finish was beautiful and really captured the authenticity of the wood. He even did custom work at the top of our stairwell where the wood had rotted out, went around and custom made wooden vents for our heating system, and re-engineered areas where old heating system vents had still showed. The end result was breathtaking and exactly what we were hoping for.It’s rare to find a company who takes their time on details and really listens the needs of the house - and Great Woods delivered on all accounts! I would highly recommend them for their care and attention to detail. I’ll never go with another hardwood company. We’ve actually hired them twice now on two different projects. Adam from Great Woods Hardwood flooring did our hardwood floors this winter. He was very helpful giving us ideas on what stain would be the best for our Oak floors. He did a wonderful job! The floors look amazing! He taped off the rooms so we didn’t have any mess at all. The living room and dining room look like a new floors. We had a great experience with Adam and Steve of Great Woods.Our 1947 house had original oak under the carpet, but there was layers of gross lacquer on it, water damaged areas, and tons of nail holes.After some looking around Adam from Great Woods quoted us a reasonable estimate, and took time to explain the process and made suggestions.Once the process started the progress happened quickly, and they communicated and answered our questions by text which we asked for.We knew what to expect and what the timeline was.We have been so happy with our floors and we recommend Adam and Steve at Great Woods flooring!!Services: Restoration

They installed our kitchen floor 15 years ago or so and it was fantastic. They came back and refinished it last January and did a GREAT job. We then had them install new flooring in our living room/dining room earlier this month. They did another fantastic job.
