Dan is fantastic! When I called and said I had a 1979 Evinrude needing a water pump, he was understandably hesitant. But once I brought it in, he immediately committed to the job. Along the way he communicated frequently and explained things in a lot of detail. He asked me a lot of questions about what I knew about boats, corrected some bad information I had and even noticed I was missing my trailer coupler pin and gave me a bolt to use in the meantime. It's worth noting that my motor was in pretty decent shape. Had it been a mess, I'm sure Dan would've politely declined the job. But if you're looking for an honest mechanic that will work on your antique motor that's not a complete train wreck, Dan is absolutely your guy! Especially for newer boaters with questions and an open mind to learn. 5 stars only because I can't give more, thanks Dan!

Dan is awesome. He patiently assisted me over the phone all summer as I had a million questions (everything with my older boat is going wrong all at once). Finally got the boat to his shop today, and his over-the-phone diagnosis turned out to be spot on. Patient, knowledgeable, honest. He took the time to carefully explain and show us everything that is going on. I look forward to working with them for years to come.

Best service ever!!! The owner, Dan went out of his way to make sure my boat was running for the 4th of July. He worked late into the evenings and even sacrificed his own family function so I could enjoy mine.

My boat was unusable for 2 years after inversting in a new carb and alternator at another shop. He diagnosed the issue from just what I described, and within days the boat is running the best I've heard it in over 30 years! I grew up with this boat and was very pleased to hear it run like it did in '85.

Great view spoiled by terrible service and worse food. I've eaten BBQ all over the country and this was some of the worst I've ever had. Everything was cold, dry, and tasteless. The mac & cheese was inedible. I would give them zero stars if that was possible.

Never ever use them!!!!! This guy will take your money and did absolutely nothing for it. Super cordial and helpful over the phone and totally untruthful. Sent him money from out of state to shrink wrap a boat and he told me he was prepping the boat and had it all done when he never even went to the boat site.He got me for 350.00 and will not answer his phone now. Hope this helps someone else from getting ripped off.
