My 3 year old Grandaughter & I had a great experience staying at the Wheaton Inn. Check in was very quick & easy. Room was clean & the beds are comfortable. Wifi is provided. Rooms have TV, fridge, microwave, shampoo & body soap. Very reasonably priced. Staff is very nice & friendly. When we were checking out they even gave my Granddaughter a Mickey Mouse stuffed animal and she loved it so much & as we were driving away she told me she can't wait to come back to the office. Thanks for the great visit! We have family in the area so we'll definitely be back to visit again soon and I won't hesitate to stay at the Wheaton Inn in the future.

I went 3 days without an air conditioner, after owner drilled a hole in it. Water ran over the plug in from the air conditioner. He was too cheap to change it out.If you pay 50.00 for a room and have to sleep with the door open so I wouldn't die that's pretty messed up. The window was painted shut and wouldn't open.

Not fancy but it was all we needed. No frills, no muss, no fuss so keep expectations low and we were happy with #9! Hot water, fridge, microwave, clean beds, and towels. Property could use some updating but outside lighting was good. Exactly what we needed, where we needed and when we needed.Rooms: Absolutely nothing fancy but room #9 had everything work.Nearby activities: We weee there for a bike ride and worked perfectly for our needs.

I liked the town but not the motelThe motel power kept shutting of and it’s super cold around this time so I have been waking up to no heat nor power and on top of that the place is cover with black mold this place should be shut down I talked to the owner and he said he knows and can’t do anything about it I would not recommend staying here

My mom is from Wheaton, so when we always come to visit this is always it. We love the place always was nice and staff were always friendly. If you are into more fancy than homey feel this isn’t your place. Not that it’s old or run down it’s just a place of comfort and simple. I am glad that when I came yesterday to Wheaton that it’s still there and even changed color. It has been a while and since I didn’t stay this time around didn’t need a room. Can’t wait to come back soon to get a room and see what else has changed with the place. Love this place overall and hope everyone loves it as much as we do. I know I’ve been wanting to leave them a review for a long time glad I got to. I hope you all give them a good rating and have a great time staying as we do.

Ok, I get it, for $50 a night I know I shouldn't expect much. But I should be able to expect the least for the price. Oh, where do I start. When I entered the office I was overwhelmed by the smell of curry. I wanted to conduct my business and get to my room. (Room 16) The first thing I noticed when I opened the door was that the carpeting was FILTHY. It looked like it had not been shampooed in YEARS. Ok, I can overlook that for the most part as I'm not planning on sleeping on the floor. A phone? Yeah, not one of those in there either. But I suppose in this day and age when everyone has a cell that, too, can be overlooked. That night when I took a shower I found that by the time I finished showering I was standing in three inches of water as the drain was not draining . Alright, no biggie, my feet were well cleaned . Turned in and got some sleep. Well, at about 3 am I woke up and had to use the restroom. When I flipped on the switch I discovered that the switch did not work. At this time I also discovered that the main switch for the room right next to the door was not functioning either. The only light that worked was the wall light right next to the bed. When i checked out in the morning I figured it would be a good idea to let the management know about the discrepancies so that they could be addressed. Bad plan. I was met with mild hostilities from the lady at the desk who said in broken English that "Nobody else ever complain. That room is good. Everybody like." I'll give this place a 1 star review as that's as low as the rating system goes. This place looks like it has been updated, upgraded, improved or for that matter had much of ANYTHING done to it since MAYBE the 70s or 80s. If you're looking for just a place to lay your head for the night it's ok. But if you're looking for a place that provide a continental breakfast may I suggest brining your own box of PopTarts because that's about as close as you're going to get. You may want to also bring your own towels as well. This place looks more like a 2nd rate flop house. Seriously, the only redeeming quality of this place is that the A/C worked. I really can't help but wonder If the state has inspected this place at all in the past few decades.
