I’ve been going here for oil changes and all my car needs for a few years now. Friendly guys, great customer service, always willing to explain something, and never make you feel stupid about not understanding things. They try to make things as affordable as they can. Highly recommend.

While it may take a while to get an appointment, the work itself gets done very quickly, and prices are very fair. I've had work done here several times, and I think I'll be coming back again and again as long as I live in the area.

I've been taking my car to Zak's auto for some time now and let me just say I've never had a negative experience with them. My mom started using Zak's auto services when she was over charged for a service; she was going to another shop on Robert st by Walgreens. My mom is the reason I now bring my car here.
she wanted to get a second opinion and at Zak's they were honest and didn't take advantage of her. They even told her that she was being overcharged at the other company if she went back to them for such services. They're genuine people who you want working on your car. They're kind and patient and very welcoming. If you're unsure where to bring your car look no further, Zak's auto is the best place!

Zak's Auto Service is one of those shops everyone is seeking. Only reason I don't bring our vehicles there is if we are in a time crunch and they are booked out. I've had multiple positive interactions with Joey and Wade over the past couple years. In addition to helping me out with advice on whether or not to purchase my Toyota Tundra, they fixed my wife's AC in her Traverse for a 1/3 of the cost quoted by a different local Auto shop. Last week we were in a pinch and needed a break controller installed to haul an RV last minute...I called and told them our dilemma and they stayed open late on a Friday to help our family out so we could depart on time. Stand up guys, family/friend vibe, honest, integrity, highly recommend!

The guys at this shop are TOP NOTCH !! They operate with integrity and honesty. They will never try to upsell you on repairs that are not necessary -- like many dealerships, franchises and other local repair shops. They seem to locate the problem quickly and fix it equally as quick. I was referred to them by my nephew who trusts them immensely. They are VERY reasonably priced ! They are my "go-to" for auto repairs now. My daughter brought her vehicle to them for servicing on her air conditioner last summer and she was pleasantly surprised with the repair cost. My husband and I have been going to Zak's since we moved into the area about 5 years ago, I cannot recommend them enough! They're incredibly knowledgable, prompt, honest and as a bonus they're really nice! Recently my husbands catalytic converter was stolen and they worked with us to find the cheapest solution as the vehicle is older and not worth putting too much money into, they also helped us think of a great selling price for that vehicle.I brought my Honda in yesterday for a tire patch repair and they were done within 15 minutes as a call ahead service. They make recommendations for repair based on the year, make and model of your vehicle and aren't trying to scrape your pockets dry, which I've had experience with in the past with different mechanics.Seriously, I will always recommend them to anyone of my friends needing work done and will continue to use them for all of our vehicles maintenance and repairs as long as we live in the Twin Cities!Services: Oil change
