“Recently got my tires rotated at the dealership and my driver side front wheel began making a noise. I didn’t want to take it back to the dealership because I didn’t want to get ripped off. I explained to the gentleman (perhaps the owner) what was happening and he immediately knew what the issue was. He asked to confirm by doing a quick drive. When he came back, he spent 10 seconds doing something to the wheel. He went for another drive and NO MORE NOISE. When he returned, he explained what the issue was and how he fixed it. I asked him how much I owed him and he said nothing. I left his shop feeling so appreciative of his honesty and knowledge. Any other mechanic (and the dealership) would have seen the opportunity to make easy money off me by charging me an hour or two for labor and I would never know the problem was a simple fix. Hope not to deal with future car problems but now I know where I can go if any arise. Thank you!”

“Called the store this morning at about 10am to see if they could mount and balance these new wheels/rims I bought online recently onto a set of summer tires I already had(the tires were not attached to wheels/rims already) and install tpsm sensors and they got me in at 11:45am and I was out before it hit 12:30pm. Thanks to Joe and Mari for the help. I was nervous about the possibily of my new wheels beig scratched but they reassured me that everything will go smoothly and it did. Not a scratch on them. I appreciate their professionalism and spectacular customer service and will most definitely recommend to anyone and come back myself.

Edit- Had to visit this location because of a flat caused by valve stem.breaking. Danny got me in and out in no time. And no fee. I love this location and employees, they all deserve a raise.

“Troy's Corner Auto FKA Dave's is my go to place for gas, oil changes, and the TLC of my 2015 Forester! Besides doing a great job car-wise, the station takes the "good neighbor concept very seriously, by decorating, hosting a car show, and coming up 10/14 A Pumpkin Festival complete with free pumpkins, food, and face painting!! On Saturdays a most excellent Mexican food truck is in residence and they make an amazing steak quesadilla!!!”

Engine light came on and took the car in thinking it was one thing and came out just needing an oil change-which was completely my fault for not taking it in sooner for an oil change. I kept putting it off for a long time (don't ask me how long) and the engine light finally came on and forced me to take it in. Lesson learned. Paid $142 for an oil change (diagnostic + oil change).Also, make your appointment as soon as you think you need to take your car in. Their earliest availability was almost 2 weeks out for me.”

“I purchased six tires for my Sprinter Van. I rely heavily on professional advice as I don't have a lot of time to do independent research. The appointment was made and they were ready when I showed up. Total time was around an hour. 20000 miles later I have zero regrets.Recently, I had an odd need. I had a flat wheelbarrow tire and I tried several other tire shops thinking that Bauer's specialty was not going to be a one off wheel barrow tire. I called and was told to bring it in. Turns out the tire was not usable due to extreme weather checking. The service manager called me to tell me that he couldn't repair the existing tire, but he could get a new one. Five hours after I dropped the tire off, I had a new mounted tire!I'm very pleased with both experiences and will continue to use and refer Bauer Built for tire needs.
