Watch out when exiting from this ATM, the road surface slopes down and the curb on the left past the ATM extends out higher.

Horrible customer service. Nine employees working, only 2 customers there, yet they won't let you see a banker without an appointment. Three bankers were sitting at desks doing nothing, the manager was joking around with one, yet I was turned away. What a bad bank. Call their phone number and it says they don't answer it! Not sure it can be much worse that turning away a person with money while employees sit and do nothing. This place is a joke. Believe the bad reviews.

I am a long suffering WF customer. Went to the Grand Ave branch yesterday to make a significant deposit and open a new account to put it in. My personal banker I was informed would be working out of the office for the next two weeks and the few folks working in the office were not available either. The head teller told me I could go on line and open my own new account (not with a mobile device tho) and sent me on my way. Fired up the rarely used PC later that day. Despite several attempts the WF page refused to allow me to create a savings account, told me to go to the bank I'd just come from. I called the 800# for cust service. They informed me that due to covid, no one was available to create a new account and that I should go to the bank..... I made an appointment on line. The soonest I could see a human to open an account was 3 flaming weeks out. WTF is going on. Everyone else is working, but WF bankers apparently are not! What a s*** show

In attempting to set up new business accounts with this Wells Fargo I encountered the most painfully inept, and unsatisfying service, though to be fair, it was the CORPORATION directing most of the lack of intelligent effort. Here's the description, and you can see for yourself. On my first visit to open 2 new accounts I spent an hour providing forms and documents to prove the existence of my LLC's, explaining the nature of the business and answering questions (most of which were superfluous to the creation of the account). I get that personal bankers have little leeway to do anything that resembles business, and want to learn about your, but it's my time and I don't want to spend it educating them on what I've learned on my own. Anyway, this visit led to the accounts being opened, so all should be fine...or so I thought. Within a few days I was called back when it was discovered that CORPORATE wanted more information - essentially a reconfirmation of the original documents - but required me to come in person to spend another 45 minutes providing the same information, most of which occurred while the rep talked to CORPORATE on the phone to discuss and question if everything was ok. After giving what was asked I left thinking everything was done, but oops- not yet! Again came another call to say they needed more. At this point I expressed my deep frustration in an email which got the attention of the Branch Manager. She then switched me to a more experienced banker, but he again required me to come in person and re-verify the same information I already provided (!). Naturally not pleased to spend another 30 minutes of my time (visit #3) following up what should have been done right the first time, I cursed under my breath, and tried not to make it personal - my animus was not against the banker, but the system he works for. At least it seemed this one knew what he needed and when I left I was assured again that everything was was done. Sadly, I was mistaken, as the new banker called me again (4th time) to come in with more information he said CORPORATE needed to confirm or my accounts would be closed! Those of you in the business world know that single member LLC'S can be registered under your own SS# or using a Federal TIN - either are acceptable, and there is no requirement that your business operate with one versus another. From the first time I opened the account I was never told that Wells Fargo required a TIN over a SS#. You would think that any required information is in their basic business account set up, but no, it really took 4 visits to discover that Wells Fargo CORPORATION required a TIN. Upon getting those, it was not enough to simply send the documents in, I had to come in person (visit #5!) for another 30 minutes of lost time in their time suck machine. All this, and any deposit over $5k is held for a week to verify funds? I'm seriously investigating other business banking options.

WELLS FARGO CALLING CENTER - FEED BACK - 800 LINE I went to Wells Fargo on 46&6Avenue last Thursday...and it seems to me like the tellers do not like make your deposits they want you to do all the depositing of your money for all this I can do on-line banking. I called the 1-800 Wells Fargo for Feedback on the branch and the 800 number is not any better I told Shannon Smith who was assisting me but the call does not go to NYC...it goes out of NYC and they do not hear all the time and you have to repeat everything back to these people at these call centers. Basically these tellers do not want to make your deposit they are lazy most of them with the exception for very few that care about what they are doing not everyone loves what they do but with a few exceptions like at 56TH & Broadway will be alert about what they are doing the only other teller that does not like to assist people with their deposits is Elizabeth at the 56 & Broadway...she rolls her eyes at the customers..also most of Wells Fargo Branches they never answer the phone this is the PHONE LESS BANK - Wells Fargo their new way of doing business.

I just moved to the area and I'm done with this location. The only Wells Fargo in the twin cities that's makes you always fill out your own paper work like deposit slip. ( I have only used their drive through service, this is what I am reviewing.) It's early afternoon on 4/7 and this lady actually sent my check back to me with a deposit slip after I had sent that and my ID to her. She sent my receipt later and didn't say anything for about ten seconds, then replied with a quick thank you. pretty basic, not how tellers usually act.. I didn't reply to her so she respond to scream "THANKS" in the speaker actually hurting my ear. So loud it was distorted. I couldn't believe someone who works for a bank this big would just scream at someone who just gave them hundreds of dollars. No thanks. I came from Woodbury area and the location on valley creek was the best. Always asked how my day was and thanked me for being such a long time customer. (I've been a Wells Fargo customer since 1995). I go to Wells Fargo for convenience and because I've been there so long. If the convenience is gone maybe that means get with the times.

Had the best experience today! A teller named Tiffany was so conversational and related to me like I was more than just some person she needed to process a transaction for. She also explained everything thoroughly, and was completely friendly and professional. This location was quite busy today, but I wasn't rushed and everybody was very nice.

I had a great experience at this Wells Fargo location this morning. It was a little bit busy inside, I'm assuming because it's Saturday, so there were probably five people ahead of me in line. The lay out of the location is easy to navigate and the line forms away from the door, so even when it's crowded you don't feel uncomfortably close to anyone or have the line going out the door. I was greeted immediately upon entering and offered water or coffee. I decided to take advantage of the free coffee and was asked how I liked my coffee. I was impressed that they had the option of cream or sugar and noticed there was also green tea packets. The line moved quickly and there were plenty of tellers with open windows to assist customers. As I was leaving I was told to have a good day and the door was held open for me by the nice man in a black suit. He was very friendly. I will definitely return to this location whenever I'm around that area.

Wells Fargo: Wells Fargo is amongst the 25 lenders who were responsible for nearly $1 trillion of subprime loans, according to a Center for Public Integrity analysis. They actually came in #8 when the analysis was done a year ago. Securities created from subprime loans have been blamed for the economic collapse from which a lot of families have yet to recover from. They got bailed out and the families got sold out. I used to go to this Wells Fargo. And I agree with the other reviewer and the fact that their sales people on the floor feel like telemarketers, except they are not on the phone, you actually walked into their house. They can be over zealous to the point of annoying, especially when you're easily irritable. Yes, fake smiles and fake genuinity pierce through me like hot coal in swimming trunks. The bank tellers and everyone else are friendly because they get paid to be friendly. News flash! And other than that stupid rule where you can't cash an advanced check written in your name, for the most part my dealings here in the past have been ponticulous and the tellers here flirted with me, I have no idea why? Must be my personality and charm.

When I go inside, I always get snagged by someone to get a sales call about my PERSONAL banking even though i'm there for my job, on the clock. But the one star is for the Drive-Thru. My job starts at 9am. So at 8-8:30, I need to go to the bank. But if I have more than 3 deposits, which are small (sometimes less than $20) they tell me I can't have more than 3. I've never held up a line (they do have 3 lanes plus an ATM), but I sat in line behind a lady who sent the tube THREE full cycles. do you know how long that takes? And I get yelled at for my 30 second task? If I find out they sign people up for checking accounts through the drive through i'm going to be annoyed. I already have the slips completed and it's all the same account. I feel belittled and angry almost each time I go. So I stopped. I even called Wells Customer service to complain but of course the branch manager never got in touch. I go Downtown Saint paul instead. They are really much better staff there. Never try to sell me unless it's relevant ("did you know through your employer you qualify for etc etc?") and they are fast and friendly.

Parking lot and drive up are a bit quirky, but does the trick. We usually drop our mortgage payment off at this branch and I must say, every single time I have done this the tellers are chipper, outgoing, quick and genuinely friendly. Because the sun was gleaming so bright the last time, I didn't even notice the camera until the teller greeted me. I looked over and there he was on the screen. Nifty. Not a fan of paying bills, but it's not like we have a choice. So thanks WF for the excellence in customer service!!

This is our favorite Wells Fargo. Everyone there is so nice, helpful & professional. Everyone is quick & efficient, even as lines lengthen (as they so often do in the afternoons, especially Fridays). Just once they made a mistake & put one of my deposits in another customer's account. They fixed it very quickly! (Always save your transaction receipts until they clear & double check the account number on the receipt.) The parking lot is a bit small, but the drive thru moves quickly, even during rush. Or just pass by & park on the street (or Whole Foods across Fairview).

Wells Fargo is my bank. I used to liken banks to cell phone companies and television providers - none are awesome, you just have to find the one that sucks the least. The Wells Fargo on Grand has surpassed that previously held belief, and I have to say, I kinda like it. I rarely go in but when I do the lines are efficient as they can be, and the bankers are friendly. I most frequently use Wells Fargo atms or the drive thru and service at both is great. I am very happy with Wells Fargo as a financial institution.

Some really cool things about this place. There's a bathroom as soon as you walk in before you open the lobby door. The staff are super friendly, and a few of them are Ethiopian and are very impressed that I know all about Fasika's. It's a very friendly vibe here. There's always a news show on all day, and oldies are played all day, giving the staff a proper American music education. I only wish they allowed the staff to be packin because this bank has been hit twice.
