I visited this location to try renting a truck, and the experience was far from satisfactory. Upon entering, I waited at the counter, and one of the employees mentioned that someone would be with me shortly. I ended up waiting for about three minutes before someone finally slowly walked up to me, and when they did, their greeting was less than welcoming. Instead of a polite introduction, I was met with a curt "Hey, what do you need?" which came off as rude and unprofessional.
Customer service at this location is definitely lacking. When I tried to settle the rental, they asked for my license and proof of insurance. I had recently renewed my license, so I provided the temporary white papers along with my ID, which serves as a valid license. To my surprise, they told me they couldn’t accept this, even though it’s a valid form of identification. This was particularly frustrating because there’s no mention of this policy on their website or anywhere else.
The employee was super rude throughout the interaction and made a few comments that didn’t sit well with me. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed, and I probably won’t be returning to this location.

Wouldn't let me return railing post (for the deck). I've shopped all menards stores in Minnesota and this one is definitely the worst

The employees are slow and unqualified for their departments. The cashiers are unresponsive teenagers who let the people behind and in front of you be rude and pushy, as if it is your fault they are so bad at their jobs. It is well-stocked and clean. Menards should not keep phasing out the cute neon department signs.

Although the countertop was cut incorrectly and the road to a remedy was made difficult at every turn, Mark Brunell in cabinetry was a God-send and saved the day. The 5 stars are for Mark. Thank you, Mark!

I am a 22 yrs contractor and menards patron . We have spent hundreds of thousands with menards over the years .
My rep failed to properly add new business cards into the system/ kiosk software . Expenditures to menards of 300000 plus in one business year . The 2 % contractor rate had not been registering in their system for about 2 yrs and when recognized and corrected it was too late. About 5k plus owed in rebates as well as their false claims of airline tickets for every 30 k spent
Took to mngt. And Gayland Heckman Oper. Mngt corporate. Was told quote " we are sgit out of luck on this one " a 280 dollar rebate check was issued I sent it back !
National rebate blames menards and menards blames national rebate. We intend to escalate to the legal arena as the amount is criminal . BE CAUTIOUS WITH THE REBATE PROGRAM !!! P.S. Scott valentine was responsible for this costly mistake and upper mngt. you know who you are .. M.O.
G.H. , A.M. .. Legal action will be taken as 4-5 yrs passing with no resolution is unacceptable.

Please buyer beware pay attention to your receipt when purchasing at Menards I had a terrible experience when trying to return a item and get a refund someone at Menards charge a different debit card for my purchase and charge my debit card as well I couldn't get a refund because it was a different debit card on my receipt that I didn't use. Menards got paid twice for the same transaction some embezzlement is going on at Menards

Had a terrible experience with Mark in the garden Center. Emailed the West St. Paul manager, and also sent in survey regarding our experience. Have heard nothing about it. There was no reason to be treated so poorly by someone who is working in customer service. I hope in the future there will be better efforts of being more kinder to customers.
