That's not where the story ends when brought my dog home still a little out of it, the neighbors dog took the opportunity to bite him really badly. “I've been taking my 15 year old dog to Vet Partner on Main for the last 10 years or so. My dog underwent a knee surgery (she's now bionic) when she was roughly 11. Having a heart murmur, and being older, they brought her home and she continues to be able to walk with no issues. They have also removed a (very large) burst cyst that we were watching for a few years. The managed this situation, and once again brought her home after this scary emergency. They have been so great with her, and am so grateful to have known this place when I needed them most.”

“Brought my dog Lola here for a wellness exam on November 1st and the techs were so kind! They were very open about all vaccines that were available for her and priced them out for me and when I mentioned that price was an issue for me, the vet (can’t remember her name, sorry!) asked me about my dog’s living situation and helped me come to a logical conclusion for what would be the best for my dog and my budget. I let the techs know that my dog is dog reactive and also may be difficult for nail trims and they were extremely accommodating and understanding. I also enjoyed my conversation with the front desk staff while waiting for Lola to have her nails trimmed! 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for a vet that is open and honest with pricing and also sweethearts to your dog.”

Everyone in the office as well as the techs and of course,the vets are top-notch. “Golden Valley Animal Hospital has been a joy to work with throughout our first two years of pet ownership. Our golden retriever has come in for many unexpected illnesses, including a obstruction surgery. The entire team from the front desk, techs, and veterinarians have been so compassionate and incredible to work with. They do a great job of explaining everything, providing choice with treatment routes when possible, and calling to check up after the appointment. “This place is the best with cats. They really go out of their way to decrease stress whenever possible, and the staff is so patient and understanding even with my feisty kitty. They use minimal restraint, and the doctor didn't take it personally when my cat growled and swiped at her. Both doctors I've had here, as well as all the techs have always answered all my questions, and you can tell they all love animals and have their best in mind when making care recommendations. Prices are maybe on the high end of reasonable, but the care is so worth it. I'll be continuing to bring both my cats here for the foreseeable future.”

“Dr. Shane Smith is amazing, as was the entire staff the we met while visiting the Lake Minnetonka Pet Wellness Center with our little dog Loki. Who else would sit right down on the floor with their little patients? Well without any hesitation, Dr. Smith did just that to help calm our little guy & to complete his exam. The two technicians who helped assist, Kelley & Jenna, were equally kind, patient & loving with Loki.
It’s funny how much Loki picked up on the very “positive vibe” perPETuated from inside those 4 walls as well. Upon initially arriving at the MTKA Pet Wellness Center, his little body began trembling. When his exam was over, we left our vehicle in the parking lot, went for about a mile walk on the trail. Shortly after we returned, we imagined Loki would jump right into the truck. Nope … he walked right back up the few steps to the doorway of the place where all his new friends were. Guess he loves y’all as much as we do! Thanks so much!”
