I would give this specific location 3.5 stars. After going to west end St Louis park for a year I wanted to check this out. I would never pay more to come here..it's smaller, cramped, less equipment. Plymouth is even better. Especially if you are looking for bench/squat racks there's only several of them here.
Not a review of lifetime as a whole just this specific location which is not at all worth a higher payment

Staff are incredibly friendly. I told the lady at the front desk I was going to buy some water and come back and she went into the closed café and filled me a cup with ice.

Thank you to the staff in the lifeCaffe…Dane is an outstanding manager, very customer orientated, pleasant and professional , Jonathan is always welcoming with a positive and helpful attitude… I have a business with approximately 100+ employees and I know how important it is to have great employees …it’s hard to find them these days ..!Thank you for the healthy meals after my workout and your knowledge about your products….Thanks to the entire Lifetime staff ??

I'd like to attend more yoga classes but the spots are to close together. I'm either being kicked in the head, kicking someone else or even a foot into the wall or hand in mirrors! It's ridiculous!

It's not a huge club, but it's great. Been coming here for years. Sign up early if you want to take a class; especially, Bruce C. He's great, so witty (to take the pain away), popular, and will work you hard! Laura also amazing. Actually, the entire staff is just great. Best gym I've ever been to.

Terrible experience.... have been paying highest membership and not used club over five years.... told my account past due and have to pay about five hundred dollars to cancel.... need membership number and password to cancel... have neither

This place is slowly being taken over by seniors, which is probably because The Marsh shut its doors. If you want a leisurely swim in the salt pool, don't even try because of the endless senior pool classes. I sometimes try to dart in between classes and get in there before the leering old men start their swim shift. I try to go as early as possible before they get up, or as late as possible after their dinner. This is a small facility, but not quite diamond level. It needs to be updated and the locker rooms need to be cleaned more often. The people that work at this Lifetime are fantastic, friendly and helpful.

Extremely crowded recently, even with rates going up quite dramatically. Treadmills have been a serious problem for a year now; they are either out of order or have glitching screens that can't be used. If you want to run, this is by far the worst lifetime you can go to as finding an open treadmill is never guaranteed. I'd say about 20% of the fancy Technogym treadmills are malfunctioning at any given time, and nobody has been able to fix them yet.I'm hoping that they'll get the waterfall going again after 3 years of being off (COVID or broken), otherwise just tear it out so it looks less broken down.Everything else is good enough. The only reason to pick this gym, honestly, is to escape the crowds at other gyms. MN has a serious gym selection problem. You either have one-off personal training centers, cheapo gyms or Lifetime. But since I can't get on a treadmill, I might have to rethink my options in the near future.

I love lifetime fitness. I had membership with them for like 3 years. Great staff. Really knowledgeable and friendly coaches. Amazing classes: Cycling, Swimming, Tennis Alpha etc, the only bad thing all their classes end by 5-6pm, so it is very hard for me to make it. They should really consider doing smth for later in the day 8pm or so. So ppl like me who work until 5-6 pm would be able to make it.
