“My husband and I love Cathy Mackenthun’s. We just moved to Minnetrista and that is now our go to place when needing fantastic steaks and meats. We also love their pasta salads and cheeses. The meats are smoked perfectly and the steaks are just incredible! Cathy’s carries fresh produce and grocery items as well. It’s a tad bit pricier, but it’s 100% worth it. We haven’t had something we don’t love!”

“Our first time at this meat market.....not much in the case, but after asking if they had a chuck roast the meat market guy brought out a beautiful piece of meat, we also bought the "salt & pepper hamburger" (I pan fried these burgers for dinner tonight!! Oh my.......this was the BEST BURGER I have ever had 5 stars!!!!!! So good!!!!!! Even though we live 28 minutes away, we will be back!I can't wait to make my chuck roast! We also bought summer sausage! Ate this on crackers this afternoon......5 stars again!! ❤️”
“My wife found some breakfast links from Schroeder's at the grocery store and the whole family absolutely loved them. I brought my deer trimmings to them and had summer sausage and breakfast links made, and WOW are they amazing.

“I have been in numerous butcher shops in the area and as far south as Chatfield looking for neck bones and broth bones for soup. I just couldn't find the place that could get them both to me at a fair price, until I walked into Taylor meats in Delano. They listened to me rant and then presented me with exactly what I was looking for. Super nice people & Great customer service and product. Forget the grocery stores, take the drive.”
