I brought my transmission here in February for a repair that was initially quoted to take 3 days-a week. It took longer, but I remained patient. After some issues during the installation (which was our fault), I brought the truck back for them to repair and install the transmission. They kept the truck for 5 weeks, which felt excessive and started to test my patience.
When I finally picked up the truck, it didn’t shift properly. They dismissed my concerns, attributing the problem to a shift kit and showing no urgency to address the issue. Three separate mechanics confirmed the transmission was not in proper working order. After convincing the shop to take another look, they kept the truck for several more weeks.
After five months of back and forth, they claim the transmission is now fixed, but have kept the truck to “put miles on it”. Only God knows how long they’ll take to do that now. Their lack of professionalism and apparent understaffing have caused significant frustration. A repair that should have taken weeks at most dragged on for months, ruining my plans for the summer restoration project. I wouldn’t recommend this shop unless you’re prepared for lengthy delays and poor communication.
Edit: got the truck back coincidentally after leaving my review. Drove it home and it’s been sitting on the street since with a giant oil leak. Leaking transmission fluid now, this has been a nightmare! Will be calling in the morning and bringing it back for the 4th time.

They do very good work and very honest and they go through every with you before they do any work on your vehicle . They call you to let you know what it cost and how long to take to fix the problem on your vehicle . Very nice and a good business to deal with I would go back to them agine .

I have just started going to st cloud transmission this year. I have had them do would on 2002 GMC 2500hd truck. From oil change to replacing Transfer case. And I have total confidence in these guys Only shop in tone I will use from now on. Plus Kurt the mechanic there WhoI deal with is an awesome guy and is very honest with me.

The quality of service was superb had Kurt help me out with the transmission pick out and the types of coverage with each plan and had the new one (I bought used) in no time. These guys are next to none, they have excellent customer service and friendly staff and are one of the best shops I have been to. I highly recommend this place to my friends and anyone else who needs some work done. Call them for other car concerns, they just don't tackle transmission work! So call and see what they offer!
