Worst scam everI thought about my experience a lot before feeling it was necessary that I posted it.So, I have a very dark (black) and thick hair which can resist almost anything. And I wanted to get a simple ombré style. I went in, and there were only two ppl working that day. As they didn’t have any appointments going on, they sat me right away. I explained what I wanted and the woman started working on it. I’ll say, the only thing they did on my hair was literally add bleach to around 20 stripes of hair. After about 20minutes, the lady came check on them and took the foil out. It was still a little orangey but I couldn’t see it well bec she washed it and before I knew it, she said I was done. No hair drying, barely passed a towel through my hairs which were soaking in water. It was winter …. Cold as the Antarctic outside. For my surprise, when I went to pay for it, they charged me no less than 300 dollars.Seriously, $300!!! At that time, I had been living in the U.S for a little longer than 2 months. So, I thought it was ok. Expensive but probably that was the cost of it. Nevertheless, as I told this to few other friends they old explained to me how I had been scammed. It’s sad because I’m an international student. I bring the money from my own world and spend it thinking it’s worth the work. But that you people take advantage of people like me is shameful. I still feel affected by this situation. And only now, that I’ve tried a new stylist again, after a long time due to my previous trauma, I feel it’s important I share this with everyone because I hope this never happens again to ANYONE. Also, as I said before, my hair could take almost anything, but after that bleaching it’s been so dead. It took a long time and effort to bring it back to life.

I wasn’t aware there was a barbershop in the back of this salon. I went to Robert and was greeted with a handshake and a smile. I was very comfortable through the whole process, and he was also very personable, making conversation through my whole cut. His station was extremely organized compared to ones Im used to seeing, which gave it a very professional atmosphere. I left the barbershop with one of the crispiest and precise haircuts I’ve ever gotten, and was greeted at home by my fiancé with heart eyes all from the cut and the shave/ lining. His attention to detail was immaculate, especially with how I like my mustache shaped and trimmed. I’m very picky/particular about how I like my haircut, so I don’t switch up barbers once I’ve found one that knows what he’s doing. Since my last barber moved it’s been a mission to find a new consistent one, I’ve even gone to a couple in the twin cities, but I finally found one, and close to home. I def recommend Robert and have even sent friends his way, all having good reviews and thanking me for the recommendation.Services: Haircut

I really liked the owner here but my hair is destroyed. She asked what type of curls I wanted and I said big ones. She did whatever she wanted and did a bunch of tiny curls that look awful. Not to mention that i have a skin condition and i was shamed because i had flakes in my hair. 100% do not recommend getting anything from here.

I have become a regular hair salon customer, always leaving LOVING my hair! Just tried airbrush tanning---OMGOSH! AMAZING experience! Could not have been better! So professional, comfortable and the skin glow is perfect in all the right places. Highly recommend this service too!

I went in for Highlights and ended up Blonde. I got home and combed through it and saw how uneven it is at the Root base growing this out is going to be a BIG ISSUE SHOULD HAVE WAITED TO DO A REVIEW TILL I GOT HOME... My Roots are a disaster and I have never seen anything like this. If I part it just right it covers the mistakes but it's a mess underneath. I went back and they fixed it. With low lights. Looks more natural and I can live with that. It's back to what I had before I went in. . Make sure you are sure they know what you want. My hair has been to HELL AND BACK. It's destroyed IT was healthy and now it just hangs. I wanted people to know that is the worst place I have ever been to. And my hair is breaking off and falling out. IT will take me 4 years to grow it out. I'm 65 so when I'm 69 I will have MY HAIR Back.Service: Highlights

Such an awesome salon! Highly recommend! Linda cut my hair today, and I was very impressed. She asked me what I liked/disliked about my hair, and then, cut and styled it perfectly to how I liked it! Such a nice lady who really knows a thing or two about hair (especially, curly hair) :) Will be coming back again!

Great experience, I would definitely recommend going here! The owner is very nice and takes the time to ask you what you want and walks you through everything she is doing. Great atmosphere as well! Definitely recommend!

They did a great job on trimming my hair.. I hadn't had my hair cut in over a year and I went in and got it trimmed and that was last week I still feel like I just got it cut it just feels so great!! Thanks so much for the haircut guys!!!

My grandpa, who is 84, has had only one request this entire time through COVID and that was to have his hair cut as many salons/barbershops have been closed down. I brought him to Rebecca at Shear Dynamics and when he left he told me, "I really liked her, she was a very good conversationalist." I knew Rebecca was great which is why I scheduled him with her. A few months later grandpa needed another haircut which I arranged. I received a call shortly after his appointment saying someone found a $20 outside the building right after grandpa had just left. "Character is what you do when no one is looking", Shear Dynamics called me to let me know they believed grandpa had dropped this as he had few $20s on him when paying. THANK YOU for your integrity as a company and your dedication to customer service, and thank you to the honest customer that turned in the $20 bill.
