Waited over an hour to get help with fish And then they came up to me and said that the aquatic person will not be in until 2:00 which was 3 hours later they could have said that right away when I asked for help

The staff member was nice, the product selection was good but the floors were really dirty , including quite a few long- dried urine spots. We know that happens in a pet store, but it obviously hadn’t been cleaned for awhile. We bought wipes just to make sure our puppy didn’t come out with contamination on her paws. We definitely won’t shop there again with our puppy.

I can't ever get crickets for my starving lizard. I BEG them to find me help but they keep saying, "someone should be back there...." there is a line of people waiting for crickets, some of them leaving after waiting too long. This place needs SERIOUS work. This place does not care AT ALL. AVOID IF POSSIBLE AND GO TO PETSMART!!

Would not sell us a 49 cent gold fish for a 3 gallon tank. The lady said she could not sell it to us because our tank was too small. Ridiculous!!!

Staff is friendly and are always willing to help.
Store is older and could be updated but that is most stores in the area.
Has the best selection of fish in the area.

Petco in Waite Park, Mn. has earned my business for as long as I live here. It's a clean/organized store with great employees.

My problem is more personal here. This guy told me that the ameno shrimp will be nice with the guppies and it will mate with the raimbow shrimp and I believed him. Well in a week that ameno shrimp killed 5 guppies, 3 adults 2 babyes pop poping their eyes out and causing them seizures and made me autanize them. Also add that this place usually have many many dead animals all over the place.

The woman who work here cant bag crickets. They give you 25% of what you ask for. Every weekend i come in and ask for 50large and 50medium crickets. Ill get maybe 20 of each when they bag them but when the guys bag them they always give me the amount i ask for. The guys never under bag and they are amazing at there job. The woman need to be trained again because they are incapable of there job.

It's a decent place for your animal needs. Sometimes the staff contradicts each other with information on what's best for your pets, which can be confusing. However if you buy an animal and it does not last long, they will give you a refund if it is within their time time frame. I do recommend doing your own research on what you will need for your pets needs before going, but an okay place overall

2 employees standing around, even looking at me knowing full well that I had the Aquatics area paged 3 times for help. NO ONE helped me and I ended up going to Petsmart for my fish! I will definitely be shopping at petsmart from now on.. on a side note, the cashier at petco
was very nice.
Shameful how management let's employees act this way towards paying customers ?

I was getting a fish and they had everything I needed to get a tank set up and my Betta - which was a hard choice because there were so many!
