Been an on time paying customer here for almost 3 years. Monthly rent has increased about $30 over that period; but since ownership changed from KO, unit prices have all been changed. The issue in that is the new owners, SRoA, apparently are not familiar with customer loyalty or satisfaction. The NEW monthly rate for units sized as the one I have been renting for the past 3ish years has been reduced by $70/month. When I questioned management as to why I hadn’t been offered the current lower rate and was still being charged $70 more than others with units of the exact same dimensions as mine, their response and only solution to the issue was for me to pack up 3ish years worth of items and move it into a different unit in order to be entered into their system as a new renter. NOT ACCEPTABLE!! Adding their lack of transparency and customer service to the ongoing list of issues, including but not limited to….the “controlled access” gate is not very controlled. When functioning properly, a security PIN code is required to open the entrance gate, but that gate has been completely open for probably about a year. I have called the office more than once to inform them of the issue. Unit theft has been no stranger to that place and the lack of security monitoring footage basically sends the invitations.

The gate has been open all winter. The facility was not plowed after the last big snowfall so, after melting and re-freezing, it is now several inches thick with ice extending 10 feet from our door. (Safety?) There has now been some melting right against the door and (we predict) that the water is getting into our unit. With what we pay, I expected to at least be able to get into our unit.

I got my unit over the phone and the person that I talked to told me that I can get in mon-sat from 6am to 10pm but my fiance was able to get in on a Sunday. And after they were done looking over the forms that I had to sign I was going to get a text message with the code to get into the gate and then when I called to get the code the first 4 didn't work

New management. Of course, everything is more expensive and they want you to sign agreements absolving them of any and all liability under every single circumstance. These liability and indemnity waivers are out of hand.

They Need some more cameras just went to get my cars and someone is out there trying to steal catalytic I called about the damages to my vehicle and I have pictures for proof but didn’t get much help.
