Goodwill forgot what it means to be a THRIFT STORE. I've seen used stuff hear very near or at retail prices. They ship all of the good things to their online website and this is overpriced and what's leftover.
The GW as we have always called it was great back many years ago. I.e. no online store, you could find great deals in their glass case up front and maybe have a bargain to tell your friends. Not anymore now that they either keep the good stuff or ship it to their website to sell.
Overpriced. And they ask for extra donation at the end of every transaction. Would you like to round up your purchase to help people work?
Well, GW I'm glad you asked.. yes i would. If i knew it actually went to them and you stopped shipping all of St. Clouds good donations to your out of state website. And priced things.. do i even need to say this? I guess so in 2024, below retail.
Why would someone want something used at retail price there that you got for free? Give good value back to the community again, stop shipping the good stuff to corporate or letting employees get first dibs.
Sorry but i cant recommend the GW anymore. Try Savers

I will not be going back to goodwill. Went shopping with my sister and we both found miss me jeans. In fact we found several pairs of miss me jeans. All were $19.99 except the pair I wanted which were $34.99. $35 for jeans? At goodwill? I asked if they would honor the price of the other miss me jeans and they said no because the $35 pair were "newer". They were obviously not newer or in any better condition than the others. Disliked the service and the prices.

No fitting rooms, high prices, poor customer service. So sad. I want to love goodwill but they give me so many reasons to hate their company!

Terrible customer service there was this one old guy as a worker and it’s normal for people to not put clothes away but he just kept looking at my mom and he was even near this one white woman who also misplaced clothes and he didn’t say anything to her as for my mom he just kept looking at her and got mad at us when we confronted him over his JOB.

Goodwill what happened ? Look up the definition of goodwill. Profit helps a small group of people not the masses. Time to change for the better.

I have been shopping at thrift stores for a long time and this is not a place i would recommend from employees wearing air pods when cashiering to ringing up my items are the wrong items. today was the last time i shop at this store i know half of the employees are very awesome and it stinks that a couple of bad eggs are bringing down a whole store but i will not shop at a store that dose not care about customer or the stuff they are buying handling this without care. i tried to complain to the store but they blew me off. My money will be spent elsewhere and knowing they allow people to not give a damn about there jobs is more frustrating then anything. Care about were you shop if you need books shop at thrift books if you need other thing shop at thrift works or savers.

Thrift stores are highly enjoyable for me, but I can't say I enjoy shopping at goodwill. The prices are often not that good for the condition, and any item that is even remotely expensive or desirable gets sticker priced AS WELL AS sharpied with the initials of whoever priced it, thus severely affecting the product. Who sharpies vintage and antique items??? Terrible idea, whoever came up with it. Also, no fitting rooms for trying on clothes. Resellers don't care about fit, but the rest of us do.

Used to be a great place to find a bargain. Far too many items (used) are priced at or above full retail prices of the same items brand new. Save your money and check out more garage sales if you want a good deal on used items. Savers is not a better option.

Do yourself a favor and donate to savers instead. Not that savers is that great anymore either, but the service and pickiness of goodwill is almost laughable. Not sure about shopping but refuse to donate again.
