Fantastic Vets and staff. Our entire local family uses this facility for all of our pets both past and present. Recommend 100%

Not recommended if you're a cat owner. You never really know how good or bad a vet clinic is until there's an emergency or tragedy. We moved to St Cloud in 2021 and chose this vet clinic based on reviews. Dr. Boysen was great with our cat in doing routine exams and vaccinations; however, when our cat had a medical emergency, we had to see Gina Kobluk because she was the vet on duty that day. She had a terrible bedside manner and wouldn't listen to what we were telling her. Instead, she argued with us. She didn't pet or comfort our cat, nor did the technician that was in the room with us. I didn't get the impression that they liked animals. We also weren't given any follow up instructions after our cat was prescribed anti-seizure medication a week later. We asked for another appointment to see Dr. Boysen instead and were told that we could only see Gina going forward. Hard pass! It was horrible, but I'm happy it happened because it forced us to find a better vet in Albany MN who has been an absolute life saver and a completely different office experience (with better prices as an added bonus), and our kitty is now doing great.

On 3 Jan 24 I brought my 9 year old cat Bear in for vomiting issues. Dr Kobluk stated she would have to run a series of tests to determine the cause. I provided consent and Bear was given X-rays and blood work along with other tests - which I was told all came back normal. Dr Kobluk then prescribed medication for a sensitive stomach (bill over$850). On 14 Jan 24 my wife found Bear on the floor struggling to breath. We immediately brought Bear to Blue Pearl where she passed away within moments of our arrival. The vet at Plue Pearl stated that due to the yellow color of Bears skin she could see that our cat had a liver problem (this was without tests). I had just recently started using Boysen as we moved here from the twin cities - I truly feel I let my cat down by this choice!

Dr Shannon has left me with a terrible memory of my cat's last moments - the technician was very wonderful ( very wonderful) but I have had many pets euthanized due to old age or cancer and I know that the sedative is given time to work before the euthanasia takes place. The female Doctor there in the fall of 2022 injected the sedative and immediately followed with the lethal injection. My 21 year old kitty died with his tongue out and eyes open. I have to leave this review in hopes of preventing her from doing this to others. It is an image that remains - he deserved better. They got me in the same day and the Tech was very compassionate - if I could give this a rating it would be 5 stars but because of the vet - who gets a zero stars the average is 3.

The worst. I called to ask for an appointment several months ago because my cat was crying a lot and TOLD THEM I THOUGHT SHE HAD PAIN. NO ONE PUT THAT IN HER NOTES.They found she had thyroid tumors and I had 3 options: radiation ( which I couldn't afford), medication ( which I would never be able to get them into her), or food special food ( which she threw up.). I went back to her previous food. She's now constantly crying which I'm sure is from pain, excessively drinking, peeing, and extremely active which are sighs of thyroid tumors. I read on the internet that pain accompanies thyroid tumors. I called and asked for pain meds and I know there are liquid options. I'm told there are no notes about pain so I have to make another appointment, freaking and stressing my cat out even more. I never should have used this clinic and stayed with doctor Tom in St. Joe. I'm so angry right now. The clinic office staff is useless and irresponsible for not documenting that I was concerned about pain. Do not use this clinic.

Great vets that saved my dogs life a few years ago due to her own body eatting her own blood cells. We have brought her back for treatments for her allergies..they are great people, they listen to you and give you advice as to what needed to be done and what I could afford..they worked with us and gave our fur baby the best care possible..very friendly staff.. Destiny is looking at her Daddy knowing how much she is loved!!

It is a fantastic place; my dog had an eye infection, causing her pain that came up suddenly. They managed to fit her in the same day. Their care, compassion and, and friendliness helped her get quickly diagnosed and problem-solved. Would absolutely recommend them.

Dr. Boysen is extremely kind and caring when it comes to my animals. He helped put down one of my cats, helped with my dog Stella before her passing and just recently fixed up my 3 year old dog with 2 broken toes. This clinic is honest, fairly priced and compassionate. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who wants a vet that will treat your pet as their own.

New to the area and this clinic came highly recommended. I took my senior sheltie there for a check-up. The staff was friendly and kind. The Dr. spent quality time with my dog even though they had an emergency situation just come in. The office and rooms were very clean. I will be back and would definitely recommend this clinic.

From the moment they picked up the phone and got my kitty scheduled for surgery the same day, I felt very comfortable bringing my fur baby here to get what he needed. They were all very nice and caring.

This was my first visit. My dog Louie needed a wellness check and shots. Everyone was so nice there and treated Louie great. I am glad I chose Boysen for my dog.

I brought our 1 year-old sick bengal kitten in to be looked at since my normal vet was booked. The bengal would not eat or drink in 48 hours. The staff was very knowledgeable and cared well for my sick kitten. However, I had to go back 2 days in a row as she still would not eat or drink. I wish they would have given me the medicine to put in her ears the first visit as it would have saved us $581 and the kitten wouldn't have had to come back in 2 days in a row. I hope the next pet that comes in due to not eating gets the medicine on the first visit so they can save the $581 it cost us. :(

Our Chihuahua Izzy was having an allergic reaction with itching, warm/ red skin and hives. We called several local vet practices that said Izzy should be seen but refused to get her in since we weren't current clients. Boysen got us in right away with kind, compassionate and gentle care! Thank you Dr Kobluk and staff!
