Zero stars. Whoever they had answering phones March 26th, 2024 around 3:40ish pm is extremely rude and has zero empathy for pets. Her customer services was also trash. She hung up on me after I thanked her, and she didn’t even do anything worth thanking.I want to add that the veterinarians who work there have all been wonderful. It’s just the people they have sitting behind the front desk that are always very rude and standoffish.

My review is primarily for the front desk staff and Dr. Kedrowski. If you want a vet that cares about your pets, come here and see Dr. Kedrowski asap. We had been seeing a vet in a nearby town for over 5 years and after ONE appointment here he is basically a kitten again. She is truly a miracle worker or a genie, I didn’t have the mental capacity to explain my concerns properly and she still understood every one and took care of everything from creating a few health plans for me to decide from to locating his new prescription on Chewy to make it more affordable. The front staff here is a whole different breed of customer facing workers. I have never felt like I’m inconveniencing them and they greet you with genuine smiles every time you’re in. When I couldn’t find the prescription on chewy to order, they took 15 minutes out of their VERY busy day to help me look and explained the next steps on how the process will work once they get the order faxed to them. They are a bit pricey if you don’t do their payment plan but having my cat back to how he was before the previous vets health plan is worth every single penny.

Pros: When in-person visits, they have always treated our pup with the best care and attention and he gets super spoiled. The Wellness plan does discount some extra stuff which is nice.Cons: Trying to get through the phones is extremely tough. You can call 8 times a day and not get through to someone. They could really use additional staffing that’s consistent for front desk to service calls only like other vet clinics do. I’ve never experienced a vet clinic so difficult to get ahold of.

I met the best vet tech EVER at Banfield Waite Park. Her name was Kayla and she was INCREDIBLE!!! She helped me understand my cats weight problem and personally took me through the aisles and explained EVERYTHING to help make my cat healthier. Seriously she is OUTSTANDING!!! KEEP HER!!!!! She REALLY cares!! BEST experience EVER!,

Banfield is only interested in your pockets and not your dogs wellbeing.They will sell you a plan of a bunch of stuff your puppy doesn't need that should be OPTIONAL in a early care plan package. If you are not educated and just putting your trust in the soonest place that will take an appointment, just keep your dog inside and wait for a opening at Granite City Pet Hospital.

Do NOT do the wellness plan! We paid the plan for 17 years (SEVENTEEN) at $40/mo plus costs at every visit which were paid at the visit. Our little dog was euthanized at Banfield yesterday $167.00 which we paid. When we called to end our plan they say we owe $400 for rest of the year. I'd like to calculate how much we have paid them in 17 years! The plan is a joke. The caregivers were good but plan is very deceiving. This is our 3rd dog cared for there and they have made a lot of money off us!

My aging cat was in poor health and I brought him into Banfield under the plan and they really didn't provide help for him they just gave him arthritis supplements and said he was fine. They reassured me that he was in perfect health otherwise and to they pressured me and push for me to renew his plan for another yearTwo weeks later he passed away. Over those two weeks I called multiple times and they kept trying to upsell me on treatment without really providing any help to keep him alive and then when he passed I was stuck paying the entire year Bill even though I had only used it for one appointment that wasn't even helpful and I didn't even get any sympathy from their staff just where's my money

I was happy at first with Banfield, because they always took care of our dog Perky, but just yesterday my dog fell ill and when I tried to get him in to see a vet they turned us away and told us to go elsewhere for help. We could not get into anywhere else and was told he was probably dehydrated. Woke up this morning and my dog was dead. So I feel the 5 years I've been paying this company is all for nothing.

Prepaid for dental cleaning and arrived on day of drop-off to more than 7 pages of forms to fill out. These included additional charges for pain medication which should have been included with prepayment. I only gave them a three so that would be read by a greater number of people. My dog has been there for three years on various plans and has not seen the same Vet twice. If you are looking for kmart quality care for your family member this is the place for you.
