The staff are very prompt at communication, the application was easy to fill out and you can tell how much everybody who works there cares deeply about animals. We will definitely keep them in mind for our next adoption. We love our Miss Lady and are thankful she is in our lives!

The staff are amazing here! You can tell they're passionate and knowledgeable and look out for all the animals in their care. I took a look at 3 dogs while I was there and they let me offer the dogs treats. They gave me enough information on the dog's temperaments, training, and interests to determine that none of them were the right fit for me. That being said, I highly recommend checking this shelter out! Your furry best friend might be waiting for you there :)

I would not recommend buying a dog from there. We bought one and lasted only a month and they wouldn't do nothing about it

I got the perfect dog for me from here. They were great with introducing her. She is a very timid dog and came all the way from Texas. Works out well that she enjoys the heat since two years later we are going to move down south. She is my emotional support and visa versa❣️? Thanks again WCHS❣️❣️

Great place. They really care for their animals. Many animals are in foster homes so they don't have to be at the Humane Society the entire time.

They have been recovering from a few shake ups in the last few years.. New staff coming and going. So many animals need their forever homes. If you're interested, i believe volunteers are needed and welcomed ?
