I have to say that I absolutely LOVE Tara the pharmacist that has worked at the Waconia Walgreens. I am not one to typically post reviews, but I have been so impressed every time with her knowledge and how well she does her job! I have worked with her for the past 15 years. During those years, she has consistently helped me with insurance issues, guidance on a Blue Cross Blue Shield issue that literally, saved me thousands of dollars and helped me blow the whistle statewide for something they were BEYOND over charging their customers for and many other times when I was in a time crunch and out of my prescriptions and she helped me entirely! She is professional, has a great knowledge of a vast variety of health/medicine questions, she always has a positive attitude and has a GREAT sense of humor to top it off!! Thanks so much for all you do Tara!!! Even Siskel and Ebert would give her 2 thumbs up and five stars!!

Over the years I have used many pharmacies from Walmart, Target and CVS. I will only use Walgreens Waconia from now on because of Tara the Pharmacy Leader. Tara is warm, friendly, knowledgeable and even at their busiest times, she says hi or gives a wave if on the phone. Tara is a great leader and her team reflects this in their training and service. I trust and truly like Tara for all she does. Best ever!!!

This one employee named Thomas who works at the front is always rude everytime I go to check out it genuinely makes me uncomfortable. Every time i need to go to Walgreens i hope he isnt working. Besides him the rest of the staff I've checked out with is friendly and professional.

Waconia Walgreens is excellent. The pharmacists are friendly, helpful and efficient. I drive an extra ways to come here vs other Walgreens in the area. Thank you!

Place is a dump. Rugs haven't been cleaned in who knows how long- It appears to be salt stains from winter traffic on them. Pricing in store is often 70% more than advertised price online.

An okay location. We use the pharmacy a lot and those experiences have been positive with exception of the drive thru wait time. Staff in rest of the store is hit or miss. Prices okay. Nothing special.

Everyone is short staffed, but there is no place for rudeness. Not only are they rude, they refuse to listen and continually are careless with prescriptions.1. They refilled my sons CONTROLLED substance incorrectly. They prescription was for adderall XR, but they refilled the highly abused immediate release tablets. If I wouldn’t have known better as a nurse, I would have given my son the incorrect prescription due to laziness and carelessness of this pharmacy. It is no wonder the FDA is cracking down on these controlled substances.2. Continually cancel prescriptions so that the provider needs to recall the prescriptions in.3. The pharmacist lady does seem to truly care and know what she is due. The techs do not. And are too proud to ask for help when they do not know the right answer

12-17-2022. I went to get passport pictures taken. I was rudely told that they can't do it today. I was in a hurry and needed photos urgently. I ended up going to Chaska wallgreens, say hi to Nate there, awesome guy. What gives them right to reject a service, why keep the counter open when there's no service. Avoid this place if you can....

God forbid you need to refill a prescription and don't have the prescription number. I have spent the entire afternoon waiting on hold to speak to a pharmacist. The automatic recorder keeps saying, "We're sorry. There is 1 caller ahead of you." This is insane. There is no reason it should take this long. Also, be prepared to spend at least 30 minutes waiting for your prescription in the drive-through. They do not know how to handle multiple customers at once. I have chosen to switch pharmacies and go to Waconia Pharmacy Clinic across the street instead, where I'm treated like A PAYING CUSTOMER and not just a number.
