In a town like Waconia where everyone still knows everyone, it baffles me that a place like this can have any patronage at all. There are many other better options. As far as access to money goes, I feel I would have better luck duct taping my cash to a random racoon, finding it later, chasing it down, and fighting it for my own money back. That would at least end with me being satisfied. YES, I banked here long ago, before I realized that I had choices. I know "Minnesota Nice" prevents people from truly voicing their concerns with a business that is poorly ran, but if you can, please try a different bank. Hometown Bank is great. Even Wells Fargo is better than this place.

Great bank, feels like family! Just opened an account for my infant daughter, quick and easy.

I expected better service from a small bank, instead it was the worst service. I will not do business with them.We wanted to open a savings account for our boys to use as their first savings account. I also had a check I was given, drawn on Security Bank to cash. I told Simone Rambow of what I wanted and she recommended a savings account with a $50 minimum, so I filled out the application and gave her $50. She left without a word for several minutes, returned and questioned me about the account use, so I told her again. Simone said we should go talk to the branch president Keith Peters. He questioned me and I told what I wanted, again, and he said he didn't think I would use the account and the cashing checks drawn on their bank was a service they charge for. Really it is a service they provide for the one that wrote me the check. Needless to say I did not open the account and will continue to bank at Wells Fargo and Bridgewater.Maybe not so coincidentally they treated another customer, there at the same time, badly. They told him he would have to drive home to New Hope to get the paperwork for his account. That customer didn't want to drive more than he had to because of the weather, he offered to mail the paperwork. Keith Peters refused the offer.
