We arrived in the area without a campsite reservation. Luckily Shady Rest Resort was able to accommodate! We had a tent ( that's why i didn't rate the rooms)with a cargo trailer hauling motorcycles. The gentleman at the front desk was super helpful giving us a site with water and electricity which was pretty much a must! We really enjoyed the resort. After a day of riding we cooked steak dinner and were happy to hear they were having a DJ with some fun music that evening!
The only reason I gave a 4 for location was because there was a 1/2 mile long dirt road to get there.
The resort was very quiet even though it seemed pretty full. We would definitely return when in the area!

Very nice resort. Stayed in a 3 bedroom cabin for a week. Excellent rooms right on the lake. Staff was very helpful and friendly. First time staying here and I would come back. Fishing was slow but fun. Thank

Our friends have a seasonal spot here. It's very clean, not dog friendly and a rather small but very nice and clean beach. The cabins are right on the water, all various sleep sizes.

Awesome sweet resort to work at, the owners are wonderful people to work for , I always look forward to coming back to work come April when we spring clean the cabins, I luv coming to work , very enjoyable and our guest are very respectful and nice...
