Stopped here randomly on my way back to Wadena County about a month ago. Everything was perfect! The best pork steaks, Braunschweiger, and customer service. I'm totally coming back.

Great small town grocer! They might not have everything you need, but they will definitely have your essentials. They also have a great meat selection. The brats are fantastic!

A great store that covers the basics and a little more. Even hot lunches at noon. It’s like the store’s concept was developed by a high end retailer, but they forget to tell the owners to charge high prices and be indifferent to their customers.

Always a great place to visit. Amor pork has been a great addition. That mercantile mix popcorn is such a treat.

Best ribeye I ever had, even by cooking it in my airfryer!!! Plus, you can't leave their store without buying their caramel corn - made in store. It's addictive. Bet you can't buy just one bag!

This is Vergas's newest grocery store. After Goodmans Supermarket closed in 2016, the community was without a grocery store for 6 years. With this new building the Ditterich family leases space for a small grocery store. Smaller than Aldi even. Their prices for groceries are high, but if you forgot something on the way to your cabin, you pay for the convenience. They have specialty beef cuts and a deli counter with sliced lunch meat and cheese. Their son Colton makes specialty popcorn. I've had the Parmesan Garlic and Cheese Pizza. They also have cotton candy. I noticed a large selection of chips and candy. They have local products of honey, maple syrup and barbecue seasonings and sauces. Very friendly. Support local small town business!
