I spent over $700 on repairs recently and suggested to satisfy me most fully, they should front the costs and labor to replace a small license plate light that was burnt out....something they we're trying to charge me nearly 70 more $ for. The service tech who I worked with decided not to do that.
However, and thankfully, when I arrived to pick the car up, the service tech I interacted with in the drop off area, when told of my unfulfilled request, turned the whole interaction around by taking care of it at no cost after all.
This should have been a no brainer by the original service tech for a family who has bought 2 subarus there over the last 14 years and is now in the market for a 3rd.

I was a long time customer (33+ years) at another car dealership. Due to some model changes, I decided to expand my horizons and try out Subaru. I’m the moment I walked in the dealership I felt welcomed, I felt that I mattered, I felt that the goal. Is the customer and their experience not the bottom line and money. I walked through the service area and that waiting room was full of people who looked happy to be there. My experience with Cameron.Matz what is exceptional.
Update 9/2024 - Also have had two oil changes, etc. thus far and also EXCELLENT experience. Melanie was phenomenal. I also LOVE LOVE the new addition to service Subaru has. Instead of filling out a paper telling the customer what they looked at, which let's fact it, customers glance, but don't look at it - I received a link to a video the technician took showing me around my car, each item checked, oil draining, EVERYTHING. I so love this!!

Luther Subaru came through for us when we were really in a bind. After an accident totaled our only car, we knew just where to turn for help. Despite our preferred new vehicle was not readily available, our Luther dealership left no stone unturned to find what we wanted in record time. This is our 4th Subaru from Luther. We wouldn't buy anywhere else. Many thanks to Seth and the whole crew in White Bear.

Walked in yesterday to look at a few cars after being disappointed at a few different dealerships. Art took care of us at White Bear. Today we picked up our new Outback. If service treats us as well as sales, then we made the right choice. I'll update this if we need to but for now, its 5 star.
Update... Still waiting for the dealereship to honor there promise. The car was delivered with a scratch in the hood. It was was repainted and a written warrenty was promised by the sales manager. Guess once you are out the door, commitments are forgotten.

I don’t usually get an oil change at a dealership but I definitely will from now on. White Bear Subaru has amazing customer service and they follow up with a video of what they looked at. I definitely had to follow up with a 5 star review.
