I came to this Walmart last night around 8:30PM to make a return and was told by Rachel, who first said she was only security but then claimed to be the manager, that there is a city ordinance prohibiting them from taking returns past 8:00PM. This is not only incorrect but also incoherent. My main concern is that Rachel’s behavior indicated that she was under the influence of narcotics. Rachel was slurring her words and had a glazed smile while simultaneously behaving in an aggressive manor. I’m concerned for the safety of the employees and customers after speaking with her.

This place is so unsanitary and uncleaned. Horrible customer service as well. Walmart in Vadnais Heights needs to do a better job at hiring their people. Went in to buy an Apple AirPod and the airpods turned out to be used and dirty. Brought it back for a refund because the airpods in the box doesn’t not match the one on the case. There wasn’t even a charger in there. Explained the situation to customer service and they did nothing. Yes, it’s not their fault that the merchandise was tamper but it was also not my fault that I had to open it and find out that the product was used and dirty. Their excused was “it’s opened and the serial number doesn’t match” DUHH why would i return it if it was the right one. No where in Walmart’s return policy that i can’t return an opened electronic. It’s also within the 30 days return period WITH receipt. Do not buy electronic devices from here. Overall, this place is just dirty.

I shop here frequently. The only complaint I have is they are out of stock of a lot of items on a regular basis. I can go to the Blaine Superstore and they have a lot more available. The Vadnais Heights store used to carry a lot of different products that they don't have anymore. It's really disappointing.
Update 2024; well they aren't any better than they were two years ago. They've actually gotten worse. I am so sick of going to the store and finding out they don't have what I'm looking for in stock. They redid the parking lot and took away several handicap spots. That has frustrated me and other customers I have interacted with I have contacted corporate and they do absolutely nothing about it ,what good is it to contact the corporate phone number when they won't do anything anyway? I call this the hoopdi walmart.

By far one of the better and cleaner Walmarts I have shopped....and unlike most stores I have shopped,the carts are always in the store neatly...most stores they are all thru out the parking lot...I usually have little wait in the checkout lanes also.

Like the store. Love the jewelry department. Pharmacy is great. Most staff is helpful. I don't like how they have lock alot of stuff up, but I understand. I tippical prefer stillwater walmart, I feel safer there?.. but I will go to vadnais heights in am hours, when no customers are there..
