I enjoyed the beer the space is quite nice and staff was friendly. The owners have gone over the top to protect folks from covid. Minnesota representatives and the governor should do right by these businesses it's a shame you cannot get a growler to go. How do they expect breweries to survive. I have been in some locales that allow restaurants to sell drinks to go to help restaurants.

Views: 4 stars Brews: 5 stars! This was overall a great experience. We enjoyed an outdoor picnic table with a heater, which definitely helped keep us content! Their new COVID service rules are effective and efficient -- seriously this is one of the places doing everything right and still giving the guest the best experience. Just wish the view was more impressive than looking over the train tracks; I wasn't expecting this given the pictures I'd seen. Still worth the stop!

Solid brewery with lots of awesome beers!! We had four of them-two IPAs, one red ale and a dark beer. I didn't take a picture of the beer list and I can't remember the name of it now. We liked them all! One IPA more than the other one and all still really good. We stayed outside by the fire pit and that was nice. Can't keep open a tab which is kind of weird in my opinion and I guess they have their reasons. Kat is now the head brewer which is awesome! I've been wanting to come here for years and I'm so happy I finally made it here!

Good place to grab a beer but disappointing in that they dont have anything except that. It was unfortunate to learn they didn't have any cider or options for someone that's gluten free. Soda was it. Snacks were limited to popcorn or pretzels, both prepackaged from another business.

Nicole is fantastic and always gives me the best cut. She's also easy to talk with, which is important to me.

So good! One of my favorite breweries to stop at when we're up north! I haven't had a bad beer yet! We went during the first weekend in October, and you almost had to have a reservation to get in. When you make them online, the earliest you are able to put one in is an hour in advance, so plan accordingly if you're going to be going through town. Also, they have great snacks (pretzels, popcorn), but plan to order pizza or bring your own food if you need something more filling.

Great beer and great staff! I loved the feel of the place and I got two of their more popular beers and they did not disappoint!

Went here over labor day weekend and the adjustments they've made due to COVID are great! They have reservations and walk ups available and you wait, social distance style, before entering the building and ordering beer. They aren't doing flights but have pints of all your favs both seasonal and the classics. I haven't been here since they redid the backyard patio area but it's perfect for social distancing. Each table has a number and that where you sit. They have durations from 1-2 hours so they can monitor the number of folks on the patio or inside at any given time. The beer is delicious as always and the it's a must do if you're in the Two Harbors area.

COVID-19 REVIEW: [SERVICE/PROTOCOLS]: Once you enter the brewery there is a plastic divider between you and the staff (you can easily hold your ID up so no need for any contact). You are asked how long you plan to stay, which is then written down on a plastic card (this helps them monitor capacity). Plastic cards are left on the table to be cleaned when each party leaves. You then wait until you are called by the bartender to go up and order, get your beer, and then seat yourself. There are options for both indoor and outdoor dining in. Everything is spaced out and super clean. [FOOD/DRINK]: Order yourself some pizza from Do North and they will deliver here. We also got their dill pickle pretzels for snacking while we waited which paired well with our beers. Do not leave here without trying their cream ale. You will be committing a huge injustice to yourself if you did not get this beer. The cream ale is super smooth and tastes even better fresh from the tap. This was most definitely worth the stop on the way home after road trippin' up North.

Great beer. They're doing a great job handling covid restrictions. They have a beautiful site. I suggest calling for reservations. They weren't filling growlers when we were there.

We've been drinking Castle Danger Beer for years. We first were offered it at the Rustic Inn in Castle Danger when they started brewing it at home. My favorite was the Castle Danger Danger Ale but they no longer make it. The North Shore Lager is my favorite now. We wanted to stop at the new to us Brewery in Two Harbors. On line I learned they had outdoor seating and you could make a reservation. Since they don't serve food - they offered ideas on their website of places that either would deliver to the brewery or you could get take out and bring over. We bought smoked fish and cheese at Lou's Fish House and brought it along. During COVID they had separate lines outside for reservations (us) and walk ins. Only one party was allowed in the foyer at a time and then only about 2 people in line, spaced apart for ordering beer. We took out beers outside to our picnic table in a lovely fenced in area within view of Lake Superior. We had a relaxing informal dinner of cheese, crackers, smoked fish and drinks. They had a method for getting refills. We wore our masks except at the picnic table and felt safe. We also saw several pizza's getting delivered to other groups there and even that method was worked out. We left through a separate gate (one way). Hope to return!

An excellent stop if you're on your way up or down the North Shore. Plenty of outdoor seating for COVID-19 purposes, thoughtful staff, and they do everything they can to make you feel welcome despite the times in which we're living. It's a taproom, so no food beyond some pre-packed pretzels and stuff, but order in or do like everyone else we saw and BYO picnic. They sometimes have a Love Creamery ice cream cart too (closed when we were there, to our kids' consternation). I would say one less star because the beer is pretty basic styles. None of them are bad; the IPA, stout, and raspberry wheat were all lovely examples squarely in the middle of their category. But none was an "OMG I am buying five growlers because this is going out of style" kind of beverage. Still going to be a place we anchor our drive time around when we're headed up the shore or to the Gunflint!
