♥️♥️SPECTACULAR views! Very clean, well set up. But best of all…. LEVEL RV SITES! 12/10 would totally come here again!
Dog-friendliness: Many many dogs here. Everyone was very respectful and kept them leashed, despite their level of friendliness!

This is our 2nd stay at Burlington Bay Campground and it was great. We had site 82 days high is right on the water. The site is large and we had plenty of room to set up games, gather lots of chairs around the fire and set up our outdoor kitchen. The shower house on the 2nd loop was nice and clean. The store sells firewood and apparel. This campground is walking distance to shops, gas stations and restaurants. Highly recommend!

If you like my comment click the ❤️ and show some love ?
One place that offers $5 showers, I called few areas and either some places did not answer or they didn't offer this service.
The first three pics of the first shower restroom area you stumble upon when you enter the camp area. ??
The last two pics are of the other shower, if you keep driving up a little further you will stumble upon that one. ?
I recommend going to the showers of the second pic. As you can see the first three pics... Yeah they need some better cleaning & touch up.

Lovely place to camp! We appreciate the sites right on the lake. This place books up fast, but the wait is worth it! Short walk to town and to the lighthouse.

Small campground right on the lake. You can hear the waves and walk on the beach. Most places in town are reachable with a ten min walk. Great little get away but fills up fast!

As an avid tenter , I highly suggest NOT camping here . The camping sites are stacked almost right on top of each other, and this is not some dramatic hate post. Each one of the tent sites is RIGHT next to each other, and only FEET off of the highway. Which means , do NOT bring your pets, as it is completely unsafe , and honestly just a very uncomfortable place all around for having even a slightly decent time tent camping. We were HIGHLY deceived from the photos online . They must have cropped the photos to make sure you aren’t able to see just how close you are to the other tents. No privacy whatsoever and extremely noisy and busy roads which leads right into your tent area. We were checked in all of a few minutes after being deceived and offered no part of our refund . Super duper unsatisfied as we drove 6 hours for our camping weekend . Bummer! I HIGHLY suggest Knife Island in Esko/Cloquet! Much more friendly and super private and beautiful tent and rv sites, even 3 small beautiful cabins. Right on the St.Louis River!
0/10 rating for Burlington bay.
10/10 knife island !

Did not set up our after hours check-in as promised despite two others hanging on the office door. They haven’t called back regarding our calls/messages over the past week. I guess we’re going to see about paying our bank to charge back the $70? Idk. Do not plan to return.

Definitely don’t trust them about after hours check-in, or calling you back after multiple calls/messages, or refunding after they don’t follow through so you don’t have anywhere to sleep at 11pm, $69 later. Made for a great vacation night.

We stayed 4 nights in site 33 in our 38 ft. 5th wheel. Great location to the bay, Two Harbors & Gooseberry Falls. Some traffic noise from Hwy. 61. Made our reservation 6 months ago through Reserve America as the campground office is closed in the off season. I mention this as if we were to stay again, we would make our reservation through the office when they open in the spring. This site was not made for a big rig. It was built up gravel, so when we exited our rig we ran downhill into a culvert. No outside living area on the side of the site, only in the back. In the older section, there are only a few sites we would/could stay in. If you want site space & a view, stay in the FHU new addition.

There was a mudpit next to our pad. This was the worst campsite I have ever stayed at. The pad was thin and not level. There was nowhere to park my truck after placing the 25 foot trailer as far back as possible. The notion of having a campfire with the fire pit ring next to the trailer was not possible. The picnic table was stuck between the bush and the trailer making it unusable. The site was littered with bits of garbage, and the fire pit was full of burnt out logs. The grass on the opposite side from the mudpit was three feet tall. The idea of cleaning and maintenance of this site was none existent. The posted quiet time of 10pm was a mere suggestion because at midnight there where numerous campfires (in 30 degree heat) still going with lots of accompanying noise.

Park is across the street from Lake superior. It has a beach right on the lake. The views are amazing. close to Minnesota state parks along the Lakeshore. North Shore is spectacular.
The campground is designed with steps so every RV gets a view.

Top spot for Lake Superior views and sounds and agate hunting steps from your campsite!

Not recommended for tent camping. Very poorly maintained tent sites, over crowded and overpriced for the site you get. Pictures on the website are not the pictures of the actual tent site. No parking near your tent site ground is nothing but exposed tree roots and the picnic table was broken and not useable.
