United States post office has been in Truman since December 1899. The post office provides wide range of services such as first class, international mail, certified mail, PO Box rental, money orders, and hold mail. Passport services are not available. The post office is only open until 3 p.m. Fairmont is the closest that has extended hours.

We recently moved here and I must say that this post office staff is by far the most pleasant and helpful I have experienced to date! The staff is very helpful and do try and go above and beyond to Accommodate your needs. Great job guys. As for the one star reviewer, might I suggest you call the post office ahead of time and have them hold your mail or specify where you would like it, if it's something that can't set out in the sun. How are they supposed to know, and where do you expect them to put your mail?!

They delivered my package which had my meds in and left them in the sun all day they where melted all together ????????? now I have to reorder and pay for them twice
