Tofte Bottle Shop is a really nice place and a great spot to go for groceries, basic staples, cooking supplies, and other home essentials. It is a convenient nearby option for those staying on the North Shore or at a local cabin, especially for picking up necessities or things you might have forgotten without driving to Grand Marais. The selection is a bit limited, which is to be expected for a general store, but they have a decent variety and pretty much everything you need. Prices are not bad considering the location, though items can cost a little bit more. The service is top notch and the staff are always friendly, exceptionally courteous, and super helpful. The store clerk is a real nice lady and employees are very helpful in finding things. They provide excellent service, such as offering extra paper bags and old newspaper when something is out of stock. The store is located next to a liquor store, though some visits are just for the grocery side. It is a valued part of the community.

This is a great place to pick up some groceries and necessities. Located next to liquor store. The lady who was in attendance was exceptionally courteous and helpful.

Love this store! They have pretty much everything you need as far as groceries and cooking supplies. Not bad prices, either, considering the location. The employee we dealt with was very friendly.(This review is for the grocery side; we didn't go into the liquor store side).
