Frustrating experience at the drive through teller today. I drove up and was the only car there. I waited at the window for a moment when the teller said she would be with me in a minute. I watched as she continued to do paperwork - not waiting on a customer, just doing paperwork. I waited five minutes and was getting a little impatient as I had things to do. Another car pulled up and was greeted promptly by a different teller who had just appeared and proceded to take this person's carrier that they had sent into the bank. I honked my horn lightly and said, "I was here first and haven't been waited on." The teller informed me that she was merely greeting the other guest and that I would be next. What I'm not sure about is why she was holding this other person's banking business in her hand but no one had taken my banking transaction from me yet, if I was to be waited on next. One could see why I would assume she was waiting on the other person ahead of me. I've had a few frustrating experiences over the years with US Bank and am seriously considering moving on to another bank. I ended up leaving and skipping the banking I had planned to do, and frankly, I felt like US Bank really didn't care about me or my business. Super annoyed. Depositing and cashing checks should not be this frustrating or time consuming.

Speedy service, and the worker was kind and helpful. Sometimes it takes a while if they're busy with other customers, but that's to be expected.

I am recently married and have been banking at Wells Fargo for my entire life, but my husband has an account at US Bank. We decided to add me to the account and went into the branch this evening at 5:40 p.m. I was greeted very kindly by a teller and told him that I needed to add myself to an existing account and deposit some checks into the account. He told me he would be unable to add me to the account because there was only one banker, and he was opening an account with another person. I asked him how long a wait he would expect it to be, and he told me that it actually wouldn't be possible this evening because they close at 6 p.m. I asked who else could help me, he told me no one could. I asked if I could set up an appointment to speak with someone so that this doesn't happen again, and he told me "call back tomorrow". I didn't take that as an answer and finally he looked up who was working the following evening so he could give me their card. The other staff member said the bankers name that would be working tomorrow, that she would be there until 6:15 p.m. After we were told the banker would not wait a minute past 6 p.m. to add me to an account! Maybe that takes a long time, but I can't imagine it would. I completely understand and respect that businesses need to close, but what I don't understand is why the bank only has one banker capable of adding a person to an existing account on a weeknight. Anyways, I also had to change my name at Wells Fargo last week and went after work, around that same time. I was greeted by someone immediately, and walked over to a banker who helped me in about 5 minutes. My recommendation would be to take your business elsewhere, as that's what we are going to do moving forward.

Went in to open an account. I was the only one there when I walked in and they just looked at me then went back to talking. Finally sat down with someone and they didn't seem interested in having me open an account. She just handed me some brochures and said to look on the website if I needed I know more. On top of that when I asked about services they offered she didn't seem to know what they were and directed me to look at the website. I don't recommend us bank as a financial institution besides that though, they charge monthly fees just for having an account. I would give them 0 stars if I could.
