Threw a dart at google maps for hair salons near me and I couldn't be happier I chose this one.
From the moment you walk in there is an atmosphere clearly aimed at creating the highest customer satisfaction and feeling welcomed, relaxed, and in good hands. Cannot beat their prices, Cannot beat their quality of work and diligence in working and checking with the client to achieve what the customer envisions the final product to be. Will be coming back. Will recommend this to anybody under the sun. Bravo. A++

If you’re looking for a great salon with an amazing team, cute atmosphere, and quality product line: you found it! The Hair Tailor is the only salon I trust! I drive ~30 mins each way and it’s so worth it. From entering the salon, Lydia immediately greets you and makes you feel welcome, the ambiance is so fun and the R+Co products are top notch. I don’t think you could go wrong with any of the girls but Shannon and AJ are phenomenal and very good with thick hair! If you’re wanting a cheaper cut or color, remember quality comes at a cost and these ladies work hard to give you quality each and every visit. Thank you Hair Tailor

I had a perfect hair cut here a few months ago by Summer (who doesn't work here anymore), then I went a few weeks ago and I still am so depressed about my hair. It looks like i have two different haircuts, she thinned out half my hair, and the front pieces are two different lengths. When I tried to show reference pictures of how Summer had done it (the first pic), she was dismissive and didn't even look. I thought maybe it would grow a little bit and it would look better but it still looks so weird. It sounds stupid, but I've really been struggling since my hair is known for being very thick, long, and pretty. This girl ruined my hair and I can't wait for it to grow back.

AJ is absolutely best. Kind and thoughtful through the entire process. She walked me through hand tied extensions and I have never been happier! She is always willing to answer my questions and recommend products outside of our appointment time.

I don't always trust Instagram reels, but this time I am so glad I did! I was on the search for a salon and I came across The Hair Tailor on Instagram and their fun trendy vibe mixed with their caring skillful knowledge hooked me ! I booked an appt with Shannon and she was the sweetest and educated on every level of taking care of my hair! Everyone was so warm and welcoming the minute you enter their salon and their concern to keep you hydrated with any beverage under the sun which to me was impressive ? ! Such a beautiful place to experience amongst beautiful people! Stillwater MN you have a Gem I hope you cherish them ...I know I do! Thank you The Hair Tailor you made my day...week ...month ! Took my whole family (3 men and me-mom) here for haircuts, color and makeup for a wedding event. All the stylists were friendly and did a fantastic job! The whole vibe of the people and the place itself is welcoming, fun and professional. I would highly recommend. Shout out to Kendyl (hair) and Lydia (makeup).....you were amazing!!
