From making an appointment to the conclusion of our visit, I had contact with 6 or 7 different Rivertown associates- from front desk to Michelle and Dr Decker - each one was friendly, kind, interested, sincere - 10 out of 10 each and every one. The facility is beautiful and sparkling clean. Highest recommendation for your furry friends

I absolutely LOVVVVE this place!! They are so personable and understand how much we love our animals… Puddims loves his Dr. Rutledge, and she is really good to him. Plus, she gives him snacks, so he thinks she is the cat’s meow. Please pardon his pun…. They always have his favorite snacks in stock, which is nice, because he has told me on more than one occasion not to even bother coming home if they don’t have them. Whew…. I guess I dodged THAT bullet… And it seems like Puddims got ahold of my camera again. He said he needed photos that “showed his best side”…..

My dogs have always been treated like "special guests" at Rivertown Animal Hospital! Courteous and friendly staff make each visit, whether to pick up supplies or visit a vet, a pleasant experience. Dr. Thorson, especially, has been my support over the years.

The team here is stellar! In a world that is rushed and profit oriented, I was so pleasantly surprised by their caring and thoughtful approach toward my dog when he needed help. From being able to squeeze him in next day, to taking the time to answer all my nervous questions (thank you Dr. Thorson & Tiana), to helping seek partial cost coverage from a pharmaceutical company (thank you Jaimie), these guys are awesome. It's invaluable to the community to have this group of people here to take care of our pets - a million thanks!

Finnegan has been a regular for more than thirteen years. He loves going there and everyone there is always happy to see him. Finnie has had some serious health issues over this time and they were always dealt with care and compassion every time. .

Admittedly, my dog isn’t the easiest patient. He’s reactive, needs to use the “VIP” side entrance (which I joke stands for “Very Irritating Pet”) so as to not raise chaos in the lobby, requires anti-anxiety meds for procedures more serious than a nail trim, and has a slew of interesting allergy and breed issues to top it all off. In my mind, my rescued rez dog is still perfect. It took us a couple tries to find a vet clinic that agrees with my assessment, but Rivertown does and their doctors and vet techs have been a GODSEND for us. They’re respectful of my dog’s big feelings, are willing to meet him where he’s at and have come up with novel ways to care for him while keeping his anxiety as low as possible, include me in his exams, and in general just always go above and beyond in his care. Dr. Howe and Dr. Garlie are EXCELLENT communicators, and I have never felt rushed or not taken seriously when asking questions or talking through processes or options. The vet techs treat my dog like a rock star, which he loves. I trust them all completely. As a bonus, the facility is beautiful, inviting, clean as a whistle, and can accommodate additional needs such as dental surgery and end-of-life care, which is a huge plus to not need to be referred out. They also have excellent relationships with other specialists, like my dog’s dermatologist. I know price can be a pain-point, but for what it’s worth, I’ve found their pricing to be right in-line with what the first clinic I took my dog to charged, but the difference in compassion, care, and amenities lightyears ahead at Rivertown—it’s worth every cent. I cannot express how grateful I am to have found Rivertown and for the quality of care they give Danny.
