As a photographer, my team and I have shot at The Loft at Studio J multiple times, and we always have a great experience. Kallan and the rest of the staff are extremely helpful, detail-oriented, and truly care about their couples. The space is gorgeous and makes taking pictures easy and stress-free. The location can't be beat, and you can walk right across the street to the waterfront. Bar service is fast and friendly. We highly recommend this venue!

The Loft is a great space for a wedding. I love the layout of the bar area and you look out and view Main Street. Warm and friendly staff.

Came here for a winter wedding, and it was ah-mazing. The 115 person gathering was easily accommodated. Bartenders were chatty and willing to make specialty drinks upon request. The lighting made everyone beautiful. And the decorative vibes were a mix of minimal & rustic. Overall great spot to host a get-together!

The amazing location and beautiful historic charm made the Loft at Studio J perfect for our winter wedding. Emily and her team were a dream to work with from the second we reached out to tour; excellent, prompt communication and very personable! She was so patient with my questions and extremly helpful in customizing our venue layout and timeline to fit our needs. On the day of our wedding, the staff worked seamlessly with our vendors and helped make sure the evening ran smoothly. We received so many compliments from our guests about the venue and the Studio J team and bartenders!

What a perfect setting for a fall/winter wedding! Emily and the team were SO perfect to work with - and our guests would not stop raving about how wonderful the space was! It was the PERFECT size for 150 guests - not too crowded, but definitely felt like a party! Our guests got to stay within walking distance, and a bunch of us went out to explore Stillwater night life after the reception. The location truly cannot be beat, and the team was even better. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

I photographed a wedding at the Loft this past May and had a great experience. It's a quick walk to the lift bridge but the interior of the space is wonderful for photos if the day is too hot or the streets are too crowded (which was true of this day.) We snuck out during the reception to get those classic Stillwater photos but I happily photographed family and bridal party in the space, using the exposed brick wall and the cafe lights throughout as backgrounds.

I think any more than 100 guests is too many for this venue. It can get really crowded really fast, for big events. Everything else was great and will be back!

We had our wedding at The Loft at Studio J recently and it was truly everything we wanted and more. As soon as we first toured the venue, we knew it was perfect for us - the exposed bricks, lighting, and windows are so beautiful. The layout and size was perfect for our 130 people wedding. We received a ton of compliments from guests throughout the evening on how beautiful the venue was.Emily helped us plan our event beforehand and she was so amazing - answered all of my many questions and always responding very promptly. Communication was excellent the entire time. We also worked with Kallan as our day of coordinator who was also incredible, she paid close attention to detail and was on top of everything the day of. Having our wedding at the Loft was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

Cute place for a wedding. I don't think the logistics work very well though. Crowded food and bar stations.
