I picked up packages from the post office on Friday. Went to the post office the following Wednesday to pick up 2 additional packages and they had sent one back. Any reason they gave was I shouldn’t put the lot number on it. I’ve traveled and lived full time in my RV for the last 5 years. I never had any problems with the post offices. This one the woman are rude and don’t even want to come to the counter and assist customers. If I could give a 0 star I would.

I live in Stanchfield with a long well maintained gravel driveway. Usps picks and chooses if they want to deliver my amazon packages to my house. I have had no issuses or trouble with UPS, or Fedex. Both get 5 star from me. Usps has terrible customer service. Typical government workers

They don't listen to post office notes on delivery items. I specifically pay for delivery to my door and check that I DON'T want my items held at the post office yet they still hold them and make me drive 30 minutes round trip to pick them up when that's NOT what I paid for. Ridiculous and repetitive problem!

These women are wonderful. I've had issues with stuff being stolen out of my mailbox and when I told them this they said they would hold my pkgs at the post office and I could get them there. Most would tell me to pay for a po box or deal with it. These ladies take the time to watch for my stuff and put it aside pretty much daily. I get alot of pkgs because I like to shop online. I say "Thank You very much" to all the wonderful people that work at the Stanchfield post office.

I had to remove a couple stars for this review as we have had issues with our previous mail carrier shortly after we moved. Mail would be jammed in mailboxes, notes left to stop delivering our mail. One day there was damage to our neighbor's property with wheel tracks coming from our home. My husband wanted to see if he could figure out what happened and asked who had been to our home. The mail carrier was the only one I saw. Called the post office to see if the carrier had seen anything and was transferred to a post master. There was some misunderstanding between my call and whatever was told to the carrier. We noticed our packages stopped getting delivered. Our carrier refused to deliver packages that didn't fit in the mailbox. When I called to see why our packages were not being delivered, I ended up getting quite an earful and shouting from the mail carrier. I have never met this person but the delivery service went on for almost 2 years. We are used to just going to the post office now to pick any packages up. there have been a couple times they were small enough to still fit in the mailbox. We now have a different mail carrier, so I am hopeful! I will say the gals who work in the post office are FANTASTIC. They are so sweet and friendly. I've gone in so many times to pick up packages that they know me by name. I've even called on a Saturday when I know there is a package to pick up and they let me come get it (before 10am) even though they are "closed" Saturdays.

i just recently moved to stanchfield. Our mail lady, she will NOT deliver the mail if there is even 3 inches of snow in front of the mailbox, i had to call the post office & ask why i'm not getting mail and then all of a sudden she delivered the next day (even though we didn't do anything in between) so it's odd that she couldn't deliver one day but could deliver the next?! i receive a LOT of packages, as i have a home business, and she literally shoves SO many into my mail box that i struggle to get them out. I ordered priority mail envelopes and boxes from USPS, and had to throw some away because she folded them up and scrunched them into my box. I am unsure of why she refuses to bring packages to my door that don't fit in the box, but this is the second time i've called the post office to chat about all of this, and the lady i'm talking to on the phone sounds like she's 16, and she is totally confused as to what i'm talking about. It's all just really frustrating. I've never had a single issue with any mail man, ever. Until now.

Stanchfield POST Office is always helpful. I've had to call and have mail held or when I was waiting for something very important and they are all wonderful about watching for it. Our carrier is consistent and accurate! Excellent service in a large geographic rural area!
