“My daughter and I both bought houses recently and have bought a ton of stuff here for our homes. I agree with the posts that state some items seem to not be as good of a deal but I think this place tries hard and I love the idea of supporting a family run business rather than a corporation. Staff are always very helpful and you can always find something fun to buy.”
“I have a fully autistic son, non verbal in fact! He's 11 & often wants to run out into traffic & put his hands on the top of the stove while it's on. We don't let him run out into traffic, we also discourage him from burning his hands on the stove top. We also don't let him deface stores, or make a mess for others to clean up. I'm not that entitled to where I'd let my son autistic or not make huge messes & deface store property. It's no one's job to clean up after him or discourage him from touching things he shouldn't except me as a parent. I definitely wouldn't blame a cashier at a store for my lack of parenting or thinking me or my autistic child has some sort of entitlement to wreck store property. If i take my eyes off my son for 1 second, he could hurt himself, someone else, break something. Me? Im always glad for a second set of eyes. Lazy parenting could mean something bad for us. I dont let my son wreck things, if he grabs something? I put it back! It's BECAUSE im in customer service that i would never leave a mess or harass my fellow customer service workers & that i always have good store etiquette at stores! I don't use my sons disability as a crutch for sympathy & lazy parenting.”
“Stephanie was so friendly and patient with me as I picked out some items to do my exchange. She asked me if i need help finding anything which was nice since I don't go to this location often. She really went above and beyond with her customer service. Very refreshing! She didn't rush checking out my items and carefully bagged each item. (Some stores just throw things in the bag) location is organized and easy to find what you need.”
