Looks like they deleted my previous review. As a senior citizen I was over charged for PRV in August. $ 320.00 I found the same PRV at Menards for $ 94.00 .

I waited a long time to find out why when I opened the inside valve water gushed down the inside wall and not to the outside faucet. I suspected a burst pipe which was the fault of the previous owners had not shut off the water properly. It requires leaving the outside open and shutting the inside closed. Simply turn it off at the outside faucet leaving water in the line. This is recipe for disaster in Minnesota.
Within three days Christian was out and found two areas with burst pipe in the line. He corrected the problem changed the slope. Even showed me where the bleed valve on the inside shut was to further evacuate water during the winter shutdown. Professional. I could not be happier with the results.

I wasn’t going to post a review about my situation. But after reading these other reviews it was very similar to mine. I felt the need to share my experiences as well.
As a senior citizen I was taking advantage of. I had plumbing work done in August, The price seemed high, ($570.00 for a PRV) what ended up to be only a 30 minutes repair. I was going out of town for a month so I needed to get it done. The technician sent me an email Of the receipt, But it didn’t itemize the cost, right there I thought it was suspicious!! I called the office, the manager wasn’t available. She was going to leave him a message and he was going to call me back, but never did!

It's not every day I write a review where I get to say that someone literally saved us $10,000, but today appears to be that day.
Back story: Our nearly 20 year old AC quit blowing cold air last weekend. Husband and I called several companies to give us an estimate on repair and/or replacement. We were prepared for the worst, but certainly not looking forward to the bill.
Three of four companies we called didn't even bother looking at our unit- they instead immediately decided that the AC wasn't worth fixing due to age, and started pressuring us into purchasing a new central air system. Once they found out that our furnace was the same age, we started getting pressured into replacing both the furnace and the AC. The best quote we got any of them was around $13,000 to replace both, and we were subjected to a lot of high-pressure sales tactics that left a pretty rotten taste in our mouths. (Schedule today, we'll knock off $1500! DO IT! You won't see a better deal than this!)
Thankfully, we also had B&D come out and take a look. Unlike the other companies, they didn't send a salesman- they sent an actual technician. The technician, Eli, arrived (well within the scheduled window, I might add!), prepared the quotes, but also took a look at the AC. Actually look a look at it. Friends, he fixed it. He had it blowing cold air in about 15 minutes. And he showed us how to fix the annoying rattle too. In under an hour and for less than $350, our dinosaur of an AC was back in business, at least for the rest of the summer.
On top of that, B&D's quote for a new system included options that were not as fancy as the other companies but would be more than sufficient for our needs, significantly better than what we have, and several thousand dollars cheaper than the options that other companies offered. Without even a HINT of high-pressue sales.
Long story short- if you run into a bind like we did, are trying to decide between replace or repair, CALL THESE GUYS. If it's fixable, they'll fix it and not argue with you, and you'll get a much better range of options if indeed you do need a replacement.

By far the best experience I’ve had with a company working on my geothermal unit. The tech even dispelled a misconception a previous tech from my old company impressed on me. Prompt, clear communication, competitive price, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Aaron came out late on a Saturday night to get our sump pump working again, after the alarm went off. Definitely will use this company again when we need help……and local too!

Purchased a new Furnace and AC system about a month ago. Very easy to work with and they answered all my questions. Install team was fantastic and we couldn't ask for a better experience. You can tell the pride they take in their work from how great it looks after. Everything is running smooth and we are extremely happy. Highly recommend!!

B&D did amazing work for our new air conditioner and water heater. Hayden originally came out and noticed several items that required attention, which was fixed at no additional cost. For the install day, Alex and Tyler were on time and worked all day; I couldn't tell them enough how impressed I was with everything they did. I appreciate the transparency, hard work and effort that went into everything. I highly recommend B&D and will be using them for future projects.

Here is our Review on how B and D "a local HVAC company" has Negatively affected our lives in the local area.
I am upset with how your company handles qualified employees.
It seems odd that my wife would be out sick 2 days and return to work just to be "terminated" after roughly 3 years of service....we have accommodated your "work expectations" only to be burned by you...as local residents we will never support your business again as you do not honor your own written morals.
We had faith in B&D and no longer do.
We would not recommend working for this company as the owner is HR and there is no process or formality on how they manage employees.

This is the best plumbing company I've worked with and they will be who I use going forward. They are prompt, communicative, thorough and friendly. Often contractors are hard to work with, but B&D is easy. They even came back and corrected something that was a purely aesthetic ask from me without complaint. The guys we had were wonderful and you can tell high integrity professionals. They also guarantee their work and will fix if anything is amiss. And, then I got a call the next day to ensure everything was to my liking. There are so many bad contractors, but B&D is truly great.
