Getting a CPAP machine at Liberty was a great experience. The healthcare system in this country is deliberately convoluted, and Liberty has done a great job making it as simple and clear as possible. Rachel was very knowledgeable and pleasant, and the prices were as good as online with the bonus of speed!

Awesome staff and awesome selection of equipment and supplies for my aging parents and grandparents. I've been to and will happily recommend any of their 7 metro locations. Kristin and Rachael supervising the retail/front end team is great! Insurance can be frustrating, always, but their billing team has also been great to work with whenever I have questions. Jessica

Friendly people. Fixed a Nova Walker while we waited. All sorts of health products. I found a cushion for riding in the car. Feels much better.

I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and was set on a course for a CPAP. After waiting 3 months I was able to get one from the St Louis Park location. My initial appointment left me wondering. The "fitting" was odd. Done with me sitting up and having to make a decision about that in about 1 minute without trying any other options. I don't sleep sitting up. Teaching of the unit and supplies was really fast and overwhelming.Yet, I set off on this new life. I gave it my all. Watching videos to learn what I hadn't been taught. Ordering items to make the CPAP more comfortable and sleeping in a separate room from my husband to make us more comfortable. Nothing worked to make this a good experience. I finally asked if I could try a different mask. They were accommodating, but that didn't help. Also, they would send me the wrong supplies and I would have to go to the store to swap out supplies. This could be a problem and my husband, or I could be given a hard time for bringing back the wrong supplies. It was determined that I wasn't really needing the machine. I had just received a shipment of supplies. I was told I couldn't return any of the items. Not the machine or unopened supplies. The supplies are charged at a rate that is not fully covered by my insurance. After getting the CPAP I found out that my insurance only covered half of it. I had to pay $1000 out of pocket. Then came the monthly bills for supplies that weren't covered by my insurance (I have really good insurance). Liberty Oxygen totally nickels and dimes you to death. MONTHS later I am still paying for the supplies I could not return. When I had questions about this, I called the billing office and the person I spoke with was rude and condescending. So much so I was crying on the phone.I feel cheated by the system at large. CPAP isn't for everyone. Liberty Oxygen is part of the problem. Giving limited help and seemingly overcharging.

This company does not have a good handle on what insurance companies they are a member of. They seem to think it better to blame than take responsibility for their information listed on their insurance site in other locations. Clearly their ability to understand who they work with and don't is an issue for people who purchase insurance and need to rely on correct information given to them by the insurance company. Insurance company gives you a provider list, website says they are on a provider list but recording on my phone says they are not by their staff. Whether you lie or are incompetent, neither is acceptable.

Emily K from the Burnsville, MN site is phenomenal. She is professional, reliable, efficient, and resourceful. She has always come through for me in a pinch. As a community health nurse she is able to order DME and supplies in a quick time frame for my patients living in their home. If Emily doesn't know the answer to something, she is quick to consultant her peers, supervisor and manager. She always comes through with the best and most affordable high quality DME and homecare supplies. I will continue to use Liberty Medical. I always ask for Emily.

I really had an easy time following along when learning about my APAP machine, and it was a friendly and soothing atmosphere! This company has very responsive and helpful employees. My cat does not approve of my new look, however.

Lisa in St. Louis office is an horrible individual to work with. I went months trying to get equipment finally I recieved it, then I was informed it's to much to ship equipment. This is the auto ship department. The failure and desire to be right hinders this company for a more satisfactory rating. When inability to listen and adjust meets an informed consumer you hit a blocked wall in the auto ship department. Insurance companies need to remove them from in network company.

I receive my CPAP supplies through the auto ship program. Although there was a recent change to program, Lisa has worked with me to explain the change and offer several options for me moving forward. The mark of a great employee, is one who can deliver news I may not want to hear and walk me through the change, giving me whatever time I needed to understand.
