“The Salem Covenant Church Community has really stepped up to offer a great variety of classes and activities for every age group.I was very impressed with the number and quality of youth and parental support events offered every week. And to make these all the programs run smoothly and efficiently the church has tapped their older members, relying their time, experience and talents to provide much of the background work to make it all very rewarding for everyone involved. There are sufficient numbers of participants (sometimes as many as 150 children on Wednesdays nights) and supporting volunteers so no one is overwhelmed. The warm, loving atmosphere is contagious to learning and enjoyment. This church is an inspiration! It is providing a wonderful learning experience for all who come - parents, volunteers, teachers, and youth. It is inspiring to see The Lords words put into action in real life.”

“Tom there at brookdale church is one of my favorite people in the world. You want a good heart to heart and need a ear that cares. Go knock on the door next to the church. Little brick house and ask for Tom. Love him..”

6630 Shady Oak Rd, Eden Prairie“Pastor Dale Hammel is a fantastic teacher... This may seem odd to point out but, his voice is pleasant and he doesn't do preachy, yelling, pounding the pulpit. He incorporates a variety of art forms and other engaging methods to keep all brains engaged. The focus is Love and living in congruity with what Jesus taught in all aspects of our lives.I feel...I hope, everyone could feel welcome here in spite of the vanilla congregation.People are friendly and there's always someone available to help find your way around or just talk to.There's a new Loring Park location that I'd like to visit to get some diversity.Edit:I've been very disturbed by the correlation between religion and far right politics, extremism and ignorance.Although the Evangelical church has been singled out, this is an urgent problem for all congregations, denominations, and individuals, to evaluate.Wooddale appealed to me because the teaching seemed focused on changing yourself not others. I sensed compassion for others, not judgment and i never encountered any overt political persuasion or activism as i have at other churches.Because it seems they could potentially stand on the "right side" of this, I do hope this particular congregation has been doing some soul searching and is engaging in open dialog regarding these serious, valid, concerns.~IMO A church can not be open to all while simultaneously standing against, specific "sins and sinners".”
“My wife and I have been members at St. Michael’s for about 5 years. We love this church and feel so connected to Christ! We are part of a small group that meets weekly and our kids love the Sunday school program. The church also has held many wonderful programs and fellowship events for the congregation and community. The pastors are awesome and work so well together. This is a wonderful church for our family!”
“Great Bible based church. The current pastor Troy Dobbs delivers excellent messages. Be aware, I suspect many of the 1 star reviews are from those who don’t like that Grace won’t condone certain lifestyles. This probably shouldn’t matter, but the theater style seats are very comfortable.”
“Minnesota! It’s not too late to plan for next year’s Sunday markets! WOW! What a hidden gem!! Live music, local Thai vendors, community congregating at dining tables on mats enjoying Sunday with family and friends. Sit on a mat and get ready to eat, because you will be getting Food! When you think you’ve purchased all the food you’d want, get two more appetizers or main meals to try and share! It was a beautiful cultural experience right here, in St Louis Park! Skip the Costco food court on Sundays in the summer, drive less than a mile to get egg rolls, pad Krapow, pad Thai, mango sticky rice, many choices of teas, coffees, & fruit drinks. September 14 & 15 are the last 2 days this year! Make this a part of your summer weekend to-do list!! (Note to those that think black pepper is spicy: when it says the spice level is “hot” believe it!). Enjoy this community experience in our own back yard!”
