“As Costcos go, this is fairly standard. It is laid out a little differently than the one in Fargo. Sometimes I’m not able to find a usual product here but then it is stocked in Fargo.I do have a complaint about the self checkout though. I had 4 big boxes and the checkout would not let me stack them. Therefore not all 4 boxes would fit on the scale. I had to get an associate to come and scan them. There seemed to be just one associate working the self checkout at that time. Usually there are more and they would have automatically scanned them for me.As others have said, getting into the parking lot is no problem but the two ways to leave it do not give you any choices but to go one way. If you need to go the other way you need to make a u turn some place.”

“These 5 stars are for Ellie. When I got to the store, she was working the frontend/ door. I asked her about renewing my membership, she said I could shop & renew at checkout, or renew at customer service if not shopping. When I got to checkout, I was expecting a promo renewal fee. The cashier told me it was an online offer only, so I stepped aside and entered info on the Sam's system, which the system then wouldn't process. The cashier told me Customer Service could help me but, turns out, not so much. The gal with no name tag at the service desk barely pretended to take an interest in my online issues. When I finally said to her, "You don't want to help me" and started walking away, she said, loudly, "I can't see your phone!" as if that was the problem after having not said a single word about not being able to see my phone the previous 5 minutes I was with her. I headed for the exit, Ellie was at the door, I mentioned how rude the woman at Customer Service had been, and Ellie took it upon herself then & there to figure out and resolve the online renewal issues on my phone for me while continuing her frontend duties. In the end, I didn't qualify for the lower renewal fee, she told me it was for new members only, good to know, I renewed my membership. Ellie was pro-active in her willingness to help, knowledgeable about the online system, has a great manner and is the definition of "professional." The other gal, none of the above. As I was leaving the store with my items, Ellie made a final contact on her own to apologize for my earlier experience. She is supervisor/manager material at the very least.”

“Love the ease of using scan and go at this place. I wish more people would use it so the lines wouldn't be so long. That is not the fault of the company though, so I still give them a 5. Prices are almost always way lower for gas here, so it is worth it to go a little ways out of your way.”

“Kendra went above me & beyond to help out my grandmother. After my grandma paid a sooo much for a medication, she was able to help us find a coupon and get my grandma her money back. She saved the day!! I’d 100% recommend this pharmacy & the pharmacist Kendra!! Excellent customer service!”

“We appreciate the money back at CostCo!!!The checks are a bit difficult for us , as we tend to forget about it by the time we reach the register. Living two hours away makes it difficult because our opportunities are few and far between. We were not in the know that we could use the check towards renewing our membership and had just done that. So, we were so elated when the " head cashier " offered to return an item and use our check to pay for said item. Phew !! Now we have no worries !! Thank you COSTCO !!Suggestion: think about having the money on an app, like TJMaxx. If you have this already, let the customer know when renewing membership THANK YOU COSTCO”

“Very pleasant and easy to work with staff! Was a huge refresher after dealing with CVS on division who clearly all hate their job. The staff at Sam's club pharmacy are professional, kept me updated, and I can tell they work as a team. I am very impressed, will definitely recommend and keep using them!”

“No club membership required. Open to the public and separate entrance (not accessible) from the main club store. A good selection of traditional and microbrewed beers. IPA, and some stouts. Also various wine and hard liqueur selections. Bailey Irish Cream. Capt Morgan and a few flavored vodka.”

“The staff at the Sam's Club in Saint Cloud are very friendly and extremely helpful. The couple of times I've had things go wrong, everyone has been very kind and accommodating. This is a far better experience than I have ever had at Costco (I've shopped at ones in Goleta, CA and Maple Grove, MN), where there are next to no staff, everyone is very inattentive and nobody wants to help you whatsoever. A good example of this is the returns process at Sam's Club versus the one at Costco. It's true that Costco has a very generous return policy, but at the Costco in Maple Grove, the service representative at the counter tried to shame me for returning things by saying, "you know, you're just being wasteful; we're going to throw all of this away." At Sam's Club, they've always taken returns I bring, no questions asked. Of particular interest to the Saint Cloud Sam's Club are the Country Hearth bread products, which I haven't been able to find at the Maple Grove Sam's Club! It could be that those products are actually made in Saint Cloud, but either way, I'm extremely happy about it. One deficit is that they don't stock certain sodas that I can get at the Maple Grove Sam's Club, but you can't have everything you want at one location, after all. They often have amazing sales, with mark-downs that make already-low-prices even lower, saving somebody like me (who has a very tight budget) quite a bit of money. Sam's Club is part of Walmart's corporate machine, which is well-known for being sleazy. However, unlike Costco, they don't go out of their way to hide it. While Costco may pay their employees $15 an hour, they have the same garbage practices that Sam's Club and Walmart do in other ways; when Sam's Club and Walmart built their new stores in Saint Cloud, they tore down an eagle preservation site. And when Costco built their new store, they tore down Heritage Park, which also acted as a preservation site. I'd rather shop with the corporation that doesn't pretend that its excrement doesn't stink, thank you very much.”
