I had a very good experience with John he knew what he was doing with our situation with the special things that had to be done . Was there when I had questions. Stearns Bank in Wait park . I suggest John to anyone looking for a car loan . The receptionist are great when you call or walk in .

Absolute worst bank around very rude Ryan and Craig are not understanding not happy with this place will be spreading the word everywhere possible about this scam of a bank. Purchased a truck from MTH out of at cloud have had nothing but issues with the truck, had some recent business changes added a new trailer to are fleet and on top of the mechanical problems the truck is just not heavy duty enough for what we need. Ryan has been calling me a liar through this process told me there is nothing he can do trying to charge me 4 grand over what I paid to in a “early buy out” never have I ever had this happen with a auto loan especially a business auto loan, this bank does not care about repeat customers or you or your business needs absolute worst bank around. Spread the word everyone. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS SCAM OF A BANK.

Very disappointed in Stearns Bank. As a new client using the bank to finance a franchise I had bad service at the very last minute before purchasing my franchise.

These people are greedy crooks! I have a piece of equipment financed through them. Beware when paying online or by mail, because even when you get a confirmation id # and an email saying thank you, your payment has been received, it doesn't count and they'll screw you out of a very hefty late charge. Even if you've paid within your grace window..... Because "Technically, even though they've withdrawn your money from your bank, it doesn't count, because their system takes 2-3 days to update" (Per MIkki). Therefore, making your payment late..... I"ll never ever finance anything with them again, nor recommend such an unethical bank to do business with!

Last year I did an equipment loan with Stearns Bank, Ryan was good to work with and I was a happy customer and even recommend Stearns Bank to another business associate. That was then, But now I had to tell my business associate not to do business with Stearns. This bank is horrible! My paperwork is isn't complete, I have not received a statement and was charged a late fee of $200 when I didn't even know it was due! I've called multiple times asking for paperwork that no one can give me. I've got charges that I have no idea where they came from and no one at the bank....Darla, Nikki, or Chris can explain where they came from. I can't fight the charges because I can't get any paperwork on my Loan from them. Horrible customer service and horrible banking!!!

No I do not recommend this bank. We had trouble with them in the beginning with them applying charges that was never mentioned and it was very difficult to get the charges off! Then finally we have one payment left after 3 long years. Well I get the statement and it says I have a late charge of $272.59 PLUS a Release fee charge of $400. So, I call, the guy says I never paid March statement, which is for April and due April 6, so I check thru all my previous statements and sur

I've never had a better experience with a financial institution in the agriculture industry. The communication was excellent and I felt confident with the knowledge base my account manager Tatum had regarding farming and implements which greatly reduced my stress throughout the process! In my opinion not an honest business. We asked specifically for an early payoff on our business loan, but they worded their way out of it on a technicality. Wouldn't cooperate with us after the fact, either. I would never do business again with them and would advise others to go elsewhere or use extreme caution.

I thought going to a smaller bank would be beneficial, but it ended up being the complete opposite. The mobile banking app for Stearns Bank crashes frequently, other times it will say "Balance Unavailable." Customer service is a joke. If you leave the St. Cloud area you are sure to be assessed fee's for using your card at the ATM as they don't have mutual ATM machines nor a MoneyPass card like U.S. Bank. There is no mobile deposit, no ATM deposit. They could care less about the customers, every time I walk in I get the feeling every one there is just there for a paycheck. All in all I would avoid Stearns Bank when there are much better options out there!

I have had the worst luck with them on an express SBA loan it has taken months and 2,800 still no results. They do not keep in contact. Think if they do this to me and 1,000 how much money they make because you get tired of waiting and find another route.
