They are always punctual and pleasant. They always give me a rough quote before starting the service and if anything changes they make sure I am ok with the extra charges before proceeding.

Be careful when buying an all wheel drive car with a patched tire here. My car's patched tire went flat just sitting in my garage 3 months later and needed to be replaced (all 4 tires since it's all wheel drive). Management didn't stand behind their product/repair and said it wearable item and not covered.

I am an out-of-state buyer and bought a car at St Cloud Subaru intending to register it in Alaska, they said it couldn't be done. After proving there is a MN State process in place they finally admitted it could be done but they have CHOSEN not to do it as the paperwork was too difficult and the "cons" outweighed the pros for them. This cost me an additional $1500 in Minnesota state taxes and registration costs and I'm not even a resident. I had to register it a week later in my state! I spoke to the finance guy in the cities from another "Luther Subaru" and they had choice 4-letter words for the St Cloud location-said it made them all look bad. It's hard to believe they'd turn away a customer because "the paperwork" is too much of a hassle. Totally unimpressed. They also had to wait for the bank transfer to "clear" from USAA before we could take the car as they "have had problems with them". They estimated 7-10days. True to form from USAA, we were able to pick up the car the next day. Both my husband and I are retired Air Force with credit scores 800+ and have bought our last 3 cars in 1 day going through USAA. Bottom Line: St Cloud Subaru is LAME and I'm not sure the state of Minnesota would be happy the way they do business.

Very unprofessional and disrespectful. I called and talked to Hector about a car that I was interested in, we set up an appointment for may 16th, told him I got approved for the loan for that car specifically and that I would be purchasing it when I came in on the 16th. Hector texted me the morning of the 16th asking if I was still coming in and that they sold the car I was coming in for. I proceeded to tell him I already bought insurance for it that they knew I was coming in for that car SPECIFICALLY. They didn't care and proceeded to blame me. Lack of transparency and communication. Very unprofessional.

***UPDATED*** Buyer beware!!! Extended warranties you buy there on used vehicles start on the day the car was first sold to ORIGINAL owner not you..... no matter what they tell you at the dealership. They will try to sell it as 7 years from when YOU buy it. Now 5 years later I am needing to use the extended warranty I purchased for SEVEN years only to find out it was truly just for 5 years (and just recently expired). The sales person and finance manager sold it as a 7 year warranty from when I bought the car not when it was originally sold to first owner. $2,000 completely wasted. I never would have bought it if I knew that it's 7 years from when the car was sold to first owner not me. I will now go out of my way to tell everyone I know to not purchase a car there but ESPECIALLY the extended warranty.

We purchased our very first Subaru this week and had such a great experience working with Hector (sales) and Matt (finance). Hector ordered our 2023 Forester back in October, and once it arrived we made the trek to St. Cloud to pick it up. Hector answered all of our questions about the car during a test drive, Matt walked us through payment quickly and easily, and they gave us a very fair trade amount for my old car. We are so excited to be a part of the Subaru family and can't thank St. Cloud Subaru enough!

Took my Subaru in for service with no damage and they gave it back to me with damage to the hood, rear bumper, tire and rim. The service manager made excuses and doesn't think he has any responsibility to help fix it.

We had an amazing experience with the sales team. The prices beat every dealer in the Twin Cities area and the trade in experience was smooth. We were very happy with the whole process. We decided to purchase the GAP insurance. A few days later we found a much better price on the GAP and decided to cancel. I sent the dealer notification of our intent to cancel. Fast forward to three months later and no refund yet. During this time they have continually lied to us that the refund is "processed and should show up in a few weeks." I finally wrote the president of the dealership about the issue. He could not even reply to my email or give me a call. This proves the tone of the dealership from the top down. I cannot recommend this dealer as a result of the multiple time they lied to me. Do not trust this dealer. Go somewhere else.

Bought a 2015 Forester from Saint Cloud Subaru late 2018 for $14,000 but with all the other taxes it came to about $16,000. Since then I have had to replace both wheel bearing ($800 a piece) I've had the transmission lights come on and to reset it was $2,000. And now my tire sensors just needed to be replaced for another $750. This isn't including the regular maintenance or tires and oil changes. I say this because they swindled me into a car that was over my price range, but convinced me that it was in great condition. Altogether my family has owned 7 foresters. Almost every one purchased from here. This car has been an absolute lemon, and now I'm stuck continually fixing it and it's draining my entire wallet. I would not recommend this dealership. The sales man who helped me was actually nice, helpful, I think his name was Eric. But the Loan officer was not friendly. I ended up paying way more and now my car is in the shop on a consistent basis. Very let down. This has been one of my biggest nightmares.
