Bought a pair of irish setter boots, had to bring them back 3 times for a defect in the boot...same defect 3 different times. Instead of making it right, he gave me my money back and told me it cost too much to keep returning defective boots. So, no boots after over a month??? Guess I'm gonna check our Brunt boots. PICK UP YOUR GAME IRISH SETTER!!!!

I purchased a pair of boots 2 years ago and recently brought them in to have them oiled and stretched as their radio ad states. When I went to pick them up, they had changed the color of my boots which had very little wear.The gentleman behind the counter told me he had made a mistake and grabbed the brush from the saddle cream, instead of the boot oil. I asked if he would make it right and he said that he would try.For 3 weeks they (staff at St. Cloud Red Wing Boots) worked my boots with whatever products they had to bring the correct color back to my boots. Today I went in to pick my boots up and the store Manager/Owner, Jamie, was there. I explained to him that I was here to pick up my boots- he brought my boots out. Unfortunately they were unable to correct the mistake made. I shared that I was unsatisfied that they were still the incorrect color and how I thought he had not made it right as they said they would.Jamie grabbed my boots from the counter and slapped them in my hands and raised his voice as to yell and intimidate me as he said "I probably lost money in the time that my employees took to clean your boots, I probably didn't make any money on these boots!"He also said "that I shouldn't bring them back to get oiled ever again!"I have been a loyal customer to this store since 2004 and have never been treated poorly by the store employees.An apology and mutual agreement on how to make it right would have been a good solution as they made a mistake.

I bought a pair of red wing boots from another seller, and they needed to be touched up. This place went above and beyond for me in cleaning up my boots. They look brand new. As I said, I didn't buy them from this store, and yet they treated me like a long-time customer. In a world where customer service seems to be gone, this store hit it out of the park. ?
