On Saturday 6/22/2024 i went to the Liberty bank in St.Cloud.. I swear that the lady was drunk or something. I gave her cash to deposit into my checking account and i get a slip back saying more money than what i have gave her and the money was still not in my account after i looked on my account, So i go back to the bank and tell her i think you deposited my money into another account and you have more money on this slip than what i gave you and the number on the slip did not match my account. So she was looking into it and this time gave me another slip back with the right amount on it that i was depositing and i left. To learn my money was still not in the account and i looked at the slip again and noticed still wrong account number, so back a third time and told her my cash is still not deposited into my account and the account number is still not right. First told her just give me my cash back, I will just go to the Sartell Liberty, she said i will fix this. I said well im not leaving until its fixed. I know she was putting my money into someone else’s account cause the account numbers were wrong. Wonder how many other accounts she messed up that day. Got a phone call from them on Monday asking what i deposited.. never again will i go to that branch.

Terrible customer service, didn't even receive a call about fraudulent charges on my card (which happens at least once a year somehow) and they turned the card off without warning, prior to this i asked for a new card months ago still haven't received one...I will be letting everyone know to never bank or loan with liberty bank mn, and I will be moving my accounts elsewhere.

I have been banking with Liberty Bank for almost 10 years. The bank itself is absolutely exceptional and I wouldn't bank anywhere else. However, my husband and I recently purchased a home and financed with liberty - Tom Welle was the agent and I was absolutely appalled by him. He refused to return phone calls no matter how many times I asked. He'd only email back in one or two sentences and very rude. He kept calling my husband by a different name and had to correct paperwork more than once. He left a VM for me once that was meant for someone else leaving a lot of personal information which also made me nervous. My insurance agent even said he was rude to him and didn't give him my husbands name correctly. (His name is Ramsey he kept calling him Rebecca!) There were also just a lot of other small things that happened - I was not happy at all. I stuck with it because of their rate and I love the servicing that that Liberty provides but would absolutely not recommend working with this individual due to his rudeness and lack of professionalism. I'd find a different loan officer.

Just completed a mortgage refinance with Ron Welle at Liberty Bank. Ron was extremely helpful, professional, & diligently worked with us throughout the entire process. Easy online application & great rates too!

Why would HQ decide to put the ATM in the commerical drive through lane?? That is the absolute dumbest thing I have seen...very disappointing.

Upon dealing with two different branches, I felt impelled to write a review. I refinanced my home with this lender a few months ago. I dealt with Tom in mortgages. He was amazing! I have been trying to get a short term loan through this lender. I have excellent credit and was putting down 30% on a 17K bike. I also work as a finance manager at a auto dealership. Unfortunately, we don't finance motorcycles. Started with the branch in St Cloud, then quickly transferred to the Monticello location (closer to my home I was told). Dealt with Jessica at that location. Gave her my information over the phone said we could close in a day or two. After four days of no contact, I reached out to her. She said since the dealer was out of state she would have to send it to underwriting. Really?! Four days later? After I have to contact you? After two more days of no return calls, I gave up on her and contacted Benjamin at St Cloud. He apologized and said he would take care of it, and it didn't need to go to underwriting. He too, took all my credit information and started the process over. Four days later I was still waiting to hear back from him. I then called him to find out the delay. He commented that since I started the process in Monticello, he would need to let them take care of it. What?! Are you kidding me?! So now, after 12 days of Jessica not contacting me, I need to wait for her? Unacceptable! I'll find a bank with some actual customer service. I've wasted 12 days already, on a process that should take a day. I would find someone else to do banking with.

Have my mortgage there at the lowest possible interest rate. Had an installment loan I just paid off. I was very satisfied with any transaction I have had with them . Very helpful communication.
