Beautiful park! We have gone to several of family/kids programs and the staff is always so friendly and great with the kids! The buildings and gardens are well kept and there are so many paths to check out.

Weekdays it's never busy. Weekends get a little busier but you're never bumping elbows with others on the trails like you would at Lake Harriet or Maka Ska. Main loop trail length is 1.5 miles, which makes for great 1 or 2 lap jogs. Plenty of art along the trail to check out. Owls are pretty rad too.
The Silverwood Visitor Center and Cafe will open on Friday, Sept 11 with limited hours: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 9 AM-5 PM
Not open during large rental events. Call 763-694-7707 for building hours.
